I keep telling everyone to look for signs of brush strokes, that's currently how you tell if it's done by a person or not.

I also hope they have some consideration for where Bastions might be built, like in the wilderness or in an established urban setting like Sigil, or the Bastion being a vehicle or demiplane.

I had some very specific feedback about things I thought they should do about the system. I'll need to see if they do go with any of them, like having specific facilities level up, instead of replacing them with a more advanced version.

They've also stated they've never seen the PHB as a primer for new players as it was supposed to be the starter set. But changed that policy with the new PHB, as it now has a "how to play" chapter.

They probably needed to explain who Asmodeus is, he has a bunch of weight through out D&D's history and Devils are a big thing in the cosmology of D&D.

I think there'd be less of an emphasis on those optional rules, as they aren't too helpful to new DMs. But I could see some still remaining in the DMG.

I'm sure the half page adventures are going to have a lot of things like "at the bandit camp (see map 14-b)" and but might not be fully playable, without a DnD Beyond freebie for stat blocks, until the MM comes out.

I find it interesting they're reusing some of the characters from the PHB in the art, like Zealot Barbarian, Dance Bard and main Rogue.

Spellcasters can direct their Bastions from far away, if they use the right spells.

I think it's important they do have a glossary on their IP, covering everything from Acererak and Caramon to Sigil and Zuggtymoy since they always at least some of those characters and places in nearly every other book. It saves having to dig around into a bunch of wikis and books that might not...

I think they might be in Chapter the DM's Toolbox. But I can see them being downplayed in the new book too.

Where's the "WotC is not doing a good job promoting the new PHB" comment? It seems they've done at least an ok job of promoting it given this.

Yes Secret Hideout has full creative control of the franchise, but they don't have financial control of the franchise. Paramount has the money and is the rights holder, they can say what goes ahead or doesn't because they're the ones paying Secret Hideout to do something. Matalas series might...
