    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Marilith Is Far More Bestial In 2025

You are wrong about that. The Positive Plane exists in 5e, I'm looking at the entry about that plane on page 208 of the 2024 DMG. It's different from 2e and 3e in that it's been separated from the Inner Planes as an all encompassing plane around the rest of the multiverse.

D&D General Languages suck in D&D.

The funny thing about Sigil being the source of Common as a language, as that it's even more like London now because of that. If "Common" is something like English (despite being language #3 on our planet) and it having it's own dialect of Common that is very much like the Cockney rhyming slang...

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Marilith Is Far More Bestial In 2025

The Marid in 5e looks feminine to me based on the clothing, even though she doesn't look anything like the 2e Marid. I don't like how Marid appear in 5e either, but at least their MM entry says they have varied appearances, which certainly leaves the room for appearing like the 2e one or the 5e...

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Marilith Is Far More Bestial In 2025

Demons vary in types and origins. I constantly brought up how types of Demons like Armanites were a biological species that was altered by the Abyss and became Demons, in much the same way that Githzerai are a biological species and not some mockery of a sentient species just because they live...

D&D General Languages suck in D&D.

They can't have regional languages in the core books, it's too campaign specific, and they've rarely mattered in game since everyone is assumed to speak "Common" for some reason. No universal translator or things like translator microbes exist either even if they probably should exist especially...

D&D General Can a Wish spell move a moon to cause an eclipse?

I'm always interested in what these other sun obscuring objects are, leave things open to further story hooks, if such an act isn't the end of a campaign. I guess it could even temporarily planeshift something from another solar system to obscure the sun. With the eclipse being the wish of a...

D&D General Can a Wish spell move a moon to cause an eclipse?

It should also be mentioned that it's a NPC that's causing an eclipse, and they're the type who probably don't care about any consequences of the Wish that don't affect them. So some of the things like "flaws in the ritual" are certainly things that PCs could exploit in stopping them.

D&D General Can a Wish spell move a moon to cause an eclipse?

Definitely one of the first things I thought of in how the intentions of a Wish might be implemented.

D&D General Can a Wish spell move a moon to cause an eclipse?

One of my thoughts is that the wish could just transport everyone in a certain area to Shadowfell where there's a facsimile of the world with the moon permanently blocking the sun.

D&D General Can a Wish spell move a moon to cause an eclipse?

The rubber band snapping back could be the moon moving back to it's original course after spending an hour or so in it's position for an eclipse.

D&D General Can a Wish spell move a moon to cause an eclipse?

Yes, initially where the thought came from.

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Marilith Is Far More Bestial In 2025

There are many types of Demons, at least 20 different types probably more than 30 different types. They come from many disparate origins too, some of them are spiritual expressions of chaos and evil, others are results of the corruption on living beings by the Abyss or powerful demons, or just...

D&D General Can a Wish spell move a moon to cause an eclipse?

Something needs to be done on an eclipse, some the powerful archmage wishes for there to be an eclipse. They were cautious enough to mention it should happen almost immediately, so that the wish wouldn't transport them to a time when there was or will be an eclipse. Could their wish cause a...

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Marilith Is Far More Bestial In 2025

Armanites and Goristoi have explicit references about being able to breed with others of their kind, and that's not including other 2e sources about Tanar'ri Demons in general. I'd still use the 2e sources especially if 5e is generally silent on an issue due to lack of elaboration. 3e sort of...

D&D 5E (2024) Undersized Performance from Gargantuan Monsters?

Remember that Two-Handed Swords did 3d6 damage to large creatures, somehow they became more vulnerable to such weapons.

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Marilith Is Far More Bestial In 2025

Half of all Armanites are born from Armanite parents, as they were more or less a species similar to Centaurs, Bariuars or Wemics but are now native to the Abyss. They are explicitly stated as having genders, often segregate themselves into herds based on gender, and tend to mate after victories...

    D&D 5E (2024) D&D Marilith Is Far More Bestial In 2025

Planescape on the subject of Demons breeding says it's possible, and typically the child is the same rank as the parents or in between with they aren't. It also says that there's a breeding program of Goristos which makes sense as they're more Demon War Beasts, and less like Demon people. And...

Faces of Evil definitely says they can breed. Planescape for sure, but even Greyhawk says that Demons can breed at least with non-Demons as Iuz is the son of Graz'zt and Iggwilv.

Demons do breed. There's multiple ways to make a Demon, whether it be as a petitioner (a soul in the afterlife) which could be as a Mane or Larva initially, through breeding, through being spontaneously spawned by the Abyss itself or through corruption.
