M4: Under the Volcano [Nimisgod judging] -CONCLUDED

I aint jumpin in - just trying for a looksee! Mordik struggles with his beard as the goo solidifies.. Bah! couldn't see an ogre's grin from a hand away from ye. Seems safe enough though. Just some weird goo - thicker'n water, that. He adds, still attempting to get the goo out.

M4: Under the Volcano [Nimisgod judging] -CONCLUDED

Hrm. Lightnin'... goo...Erm...How deep is'is goo again? If Mordik sees an area where he can submerge just his face, he'll take a couple deep breaths, hold his breath, hold his nose and then put his face in. He'll try to look around with his face in the goo.

If it gets crystalline/brittle or flexible Mordik will stick a finger in the goo, bringing it out quickly. Wit' my luck we'll have the goo attackin' us within the hour. Mordik chuckles humorlessly.

Nurlan & Mordik: He's here for help with his problems, for sure. And I'll play the strong silent type yet again. Mordik chuckles.

Rinaldo, Eanos, Nurlan and Mordik: Mordik plops down in the chair ungracefully and beckons for food. He has little care for pleasantries as he eats. Greetin's, sir. he adds, with a mouthful of breakfast.

I'd join 'em, if ye dont need me, Aye. Seems like a good enough reason to stretch m' legs.

Mordik eyes Abraham suspiciously as Tenebrynn reveals more to him... That may not be wise, I still dont trust him Mordik thinks. Mordik adds, somewhat forcefully: We've established this isn't the safest place, perhaps we should take this to a room which might be less easily spied upon?

    M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

OOC: My original intentions were to come back to one of the party's rooms to confide. Assuming I took a little longer getting back (as I was trying to not be seen and silent), and was able to hear the change of plans I will also continue to the common room. My apologies if my original intentions...

Mordik stays hidden, will listen to Abraham's answer and then slink off to bed.

    M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

I assume Mordik has not been spotted, and if so, the following is what he does. Mordik stays to the shadows, trying his best to keep an ear and eye out for what's happening as well as anyone else that might be in the tunnels.

Mordik follows behind the party, keeping up, but attempting to be silent and unseen. Move Silently;Hide (1d20+7=24, 1d20+7=9) Mordik will put a hand on his rapier, ready to draw and attack silently if need be.

I'd love t' help ye but more feet never help with stealth. Good Luck, Rinaldo. Mordik takes a quick glance at Rinaldo's Thieve's tools. If they are not masterwork: Mordik offers his masterwork lockpicks to be borrowed. I'll be expectin 'em back. He adds.

    M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

Ye put the clues together masterfully! It makes a lot more sense now that we see it from all sides. I'm not sure if we have anything written in stone just yet, though - We still need more clues to say for certain. It looks like we need to keep our wits about us, especially where those two men...

ooc: I explained it in what I said under that: "This mornin', see - I go to do my business, you know, and on the way I see him and his pack fallen spillin over full o' gold...I offered this to Nurlan but he dont think nothin of it - whatchu think, Rinaldo?"

    M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

Mordik keeps his voice down to almost a growling whisper: I still say Captain Basmar might have something to do with'is - that much money doesn' change hands without thievery of life or livelihood. Mordik explains briefly his encounter earlier this morning, still at a rasp whisper: This...

I'm not ready to turn in yet, Nurlan! I'll come with. Ya might need some stealthy backup.

Spot (1d20+3=9) Ye' musta forgotten about straightening it is all. Look - all me stuff is here, nothing moved or missing. Mordik ruffles through his items as he speaks, showing that everything is still there.

    M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

OOC:Sorry about that..some real life issues sprang up and I didnt have access to my net/computer for a few days. As for the last question asked: Mordik would have kept his weapons, the borrowed xbow, bolts for the bow, his cash, his thieves tools, and the rope/grappling hook for use in the show...

    M3: Assassin's Knot (Patlin judging)

Mordik nods and smiles, while attempting to straighten his beard. This is probably the last place he'd expected to be while on his first job, working onstage in an act. Tha's good to hear. Whatcha think, Nurlan?

Mordik follows beside Nurlan and adds Aye, tis a shame ye can't watch. Mebbe another night. As for today, it's before the performance and I'm already dog-tired. Perhaps we might fixx'at by resting a bit before the show, or have we no time before then, Nurlan?
