There was something special about Baldur's Gate that I haven't seen since.

    Higher Level PC Examples?

Sorry man, I don't think there are any. The only thing they have is some higher level powers, a 2nd level rogue power and some (I think 10-16th level) wizard spells.

    D&D 4E Early Days of 4e will be a Gearhead's Paradise

Well, I expect to see a lot of revisions to the core classes as well... Just not until a little later. EDIT: But I can guarantee you that there will be additional powers for all classes within the first few days.

Cross Class feat ability borrowing wildshape

I was thinking something like this as well. It might be possible, with the hinted 'deep multiclassing,' that you can take class features with a prereq. of "class training III" or the like.

    Creating Mundane Items

Well, it'll probably be fluff or a ritual type thing for 'masterwork' (assuming there are masterwork items anymore). EDIT: THere was a very creative thread about this somewhere.

    Damage Scaling

Well, if that is the case, we can assume the math is balanced. So, hopefully everybody will be happy! :D I don't mind either way really. It just seems to make sense to me.

    Damage Scaling

Does anybody know if ability bonuses will play a part in this? What if they increase by 1/2 per level? So, if m.m. does 2d4 plus int mod the dam bonus would increase by 1/2 level (this would simplify BAB/def/skill progression as well)

    D&D 4E 4E PrRC ~v2.7~ FINAL UPDATE May 29.08

Sorry for the double post but the ranger seems to be missing "Hunters Quarry". HEre's the relavant text from the Riardon character sheet. I assume that it is a ranger feature and is at will. Hunter's Quarry (once per turn as a minor action, designate the nearest enemy your quarry; once per...

    Undead subject to sleep?

If we assume that the sleep spell suppresses consciousness, or awareness of one's surroundings, and we assume that the undead have some sort of awareness of their surroundings, then we can assume that undead would be affected by this spell. Also, it doesn't necessarily follow that undead...

    Undead subject to sleep?

Very good then. And I think other mind spells/manifestations will also affect the animus. I’m liking this.

    Undead subject to sleep?

That works for me. I had noticed earlier that the undead don't seem to have an immunity/resistance to "mind-whateveristhe4eterm" or psychic damage. Still, it will take some getting used to if zombies can be charmed or dominated. I don't have a problem with it, but it'll take some getting used...

    Undead subject to sleep?

I had assumed it was for things like immunities myself. I could get behind either/both of these. Consciousness or motor control would depend on whether it affects incorporeal undead I suppose. Thinking about it, I like the idea that it suppresses consciousness the best; it fits with the name...

    Undead subject to sleep?

So, I was looking over the Rules Lite 1.1 and came across this... Bold mine... I compared it with this: Again, bold mine. This seems to imply that undead are affected by the sleep spell. I'm not sure how I feel about it (it is a per-day after all...) but I figured I'd bring it up. Thoughts?
