    Favorite Christmas Music?

"No Presents For Christmas" by King Diamond and Christmas in the Stars: The Star Wars Christmas Album Actually, there is very little Christmas music I like. There have been a few songs that I haven't minded, but overall, I dislike most of it. Oh well, call me a Grinch if you must, but to me...

My home town (Pine Bush, NY): A UFO Hotspot...

Growing up, my home town (Pine Bush, NY) was known locally and nationally as a UFO hotspot. I never saw anything, but apparently someone was seeing lots of stuff out there. I did have a run in once with some people on a road that was known locally as a "landing strip": a guy flagged me down...

    Rate Narnia (spoiler-free thread)

You do know that it was a children's movie, and based on a children's book, right? Have you ever read the books?

    Rate Narnia (spoiler-free thread)

I gave it an 8. Great movie, I'd go see ti again. The only reason I didn't rate it any higher is that I pictured some things very different when I read the books.

    Church of Bones, Prague

I don't know if it's either cool or creepy. I've got a skewed perspective on it, as my archaeology professor in college did quite a bit of research at that church, and I saw photos and drawings of it many, many times in classes and in his office. It's definitly interesting, though.

Can someone please address this? (Please?)

I know, I'm not upset with you at all. I've done my part, and if I can do more, I will. Just let me know, I've still got some more books I can donate.

Can someone please address this? (Please?)

No, I just suggested that Dinkledog start one. I'm just an outside doner who is waiting to send his books on to people. I have nothing to do with the organization of this, I'm just making suggestions.

Can someone please address this? (Please?)

Every email that I have been given to send my donated prizes to has come with a screen name, so I do believe that Dinkledog has both.

Can someone please address this? (Please?)

I agree with not posting emails, but a list of names would be fine. People could look at the list and see if there is anyone they know who may not read the site regularly, and have them post or contact you.

9 minute "supertrailer" for Chronicles of Narnia (Now with direct download links)

Interesting. Most people dislike that book the most, in my experience.

Can someone please address this? (Please?)

I'd start a new thread in General, and post the names of people you are trying to contact. Title it something like: "Did you donate to last years fund drive, and still waiting for a prize?" I'll kick a few more things in. You have my email address. I still have some of my original donated books...

Mongoose in 2006 (and a bit on the Industry in General)

Agreed 100%. I wish I still had the MERP books that I owned in middle/high school. I don't know what ever happened to them.

    have you been micromanaged?

I used to have a job like that, in retail. Start work at 9am, my scheduled morning break was at 9:50-10am. Then wait until 2:30 until lunch, then afternoon break was at 4:50-5pm. End of day was 5pm. And I couldn't actually leave at 4:50, because I was still on the clock at that time, I had to go...

    Opinions on EVE-Online?

I guess what I was trying to say is that the fact that there is even a game out there that is designed to allow (and encourage) people to screw other people over is disturbing. I don't want to play a game with people who would find this to be enjoyable. So I'm glad that I have no interest in...

    Opinions on EVE-Online?

Reading that makes me happy that I don't play online games. I would hate a game where the whole point seems to be to scam everyone else.
