What are the most generic class names?

How about "Adventurer"? That pretty well sums them all up.

    Treasure Generation

Ya. I use variations on that a lot too. Where something may have bumps to physical attributes (like a Girdle of Giant Strength), I'll also give it minuses to mental attributes. Transforming a high powered item into a unique item I think adds a lot to the game and the players' enjoyment of it...

    Treasure Generation

I tend to use a combination of randomness, arbitraryness, tables, and putting things in by choice. For instance, if the low-level party has just mopped up some goblins, I tend to be a little random. I'll roll a few dice and that is how many coins the gobs had amongst them, aside from their...

    Treating two weapons as one

I have to say I don't follow. What exactly is it that you are trying to accomplish here? There are already rules, feats, and handling for two-weapon fighting. In the current iteration, you gain extra attacks (feat dependant after the 1st) and extra damage - not to mention you can use...

Why are there so many Dungeons?

If it works for you, great! For my part, I use the term dungeon to refer to pretty much any specifically delineated space that the PCs may be adventuring in. That would mean catacombs, necropolises, ruins, sewers, etc., etc. would all qualify - and thus, I need no grandiose or over-arcing...

    Treating two weapons as one

Could you edit your post and format that a bit please? As it is right now, I can't follow what you are trying to do as it looks like you are jumping around between two-weapon fighting, weapon proficiencies, and rituals. And unfortunately, I can't suggest anything because I don't understand it...

What are your Favourite Parts of CharGen? Least Favourite?

When building a character for a campaign, I enjoy figuring out an overarching concept first - what kind of person this is, what are his/her goals (which of course may change during play), why is he adventuring, who is he, etc. From there, we hit race, class, and all the bits that will flesh out...

What's the name of the snake that has a head at each end?

What's the difference between a 'hired' cohort and a cohort received from leadership?

I would definitely enforce the use of the terminology: Cohort - Follower gained via the Leadership feat; Hireling - Follower gained via the use of coin; That way it is distinct and everyone at the table knows what the difference is.

In honor of Towel Day ...

I figured this was for sure a South Park reference. [shrug] Learn something new every day. Cheers!

    Raven Crowking's Nest

Ditto. I agree that the flora and fauna can give a feel of the lands one travels through, and that they should definitely be used to convey a sense of such. The noting of occasional goings on is a good thing, as is the basic description of the terrain - of what ever form it is. The impact of...

    Pre-Painted Miniatures are back!

Yes, keep in mind that this WizKids run is a single set, and is not the start of a line of minis. Of course, if it does well, it may go on - but that is not what is on the table.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Mini Set by WizKids

Oh man! I'll pick up a set, if for no other reason than to help the line get a shot at more minis being produced. Of course, it helps that I'd use the set too.

What D&D monster has changed the most over the years?

Amongst those changed, there's also the Green Slime. In 1st Edition, it was a monster; now, it's an environmental condition. As for least changed, I'm thinking that pretty much all the animals have stayed pretty much untouched through the editions. You know, like the wolf, badger, weasel, etc.

I am Developing a Table Top Rpg and I need lots of help

Hoo boy... Creating any game from scratch is a huuuge undertaking. Before you even consider it though, I'll echo the same as others - play lots of other game systems to see what kinds of rules are out there already. If you want to see some of the more complicated setups (which can also mean...

Can a DM expose a vampire character to sunlight with combat actions?

If 4E still has rules for sundering, you could even apply that to an opponent's attempt to "remove" the cloak. Or may haps a creative use of disarming.
