    Quick Encounter Rooms (Part II)

An option to submit several maps as sub-entries, i.e. allowing me to upload several versions of the same map, giving people the choice to select between them (like between labelled and unlabelled - or with certain features or not). Cheers, LT.

    Green Ronin doing Dragon Age

Could be very true! BioWare has a big following - and as the TTRPG is released earlier, it is effectively a "preview" to the game world, at least. If the TTRPG is well-written (and we're talking about Green Ronin here, which is far from bad), this could really get some traction, especially if...

MM2 sneak peak / new warforged art

I would bet on it, as it is his distinct watercolour-style, which I love - I'm just sad that it doesn't have a background. Cheers, LT.

    Vanity Search

Uh... Google gives me only a couple of pages... and the first page is all hits. That's what a very, very uncommon name gives me, seemingly. :erm: Cheers, LT.

Dangerous Delves Preview 6: Goblins, Golem, Troll and Vecna!

Actually, after seeing the original reference, it makes me think the mini might be salvageable. The painting is done from a very different angle, so it's possible that the pose just looks bad from an eye-level shot - on the desk, it might be better. With a bit of luck... it might be a decent...

Dangerous Delves Preview 6: Goblins, Golem, Troll and Vecna!

The goblins and the clay golem look good. The troll... has a goofy grin, but that's easily corrected, I just don't really like the armour plates. The aspect of Vecna is just plain weird. And belly-dancing was my first impression as well, between colours and pose. Cheers, LT.

    May and Beyond previews

That, in a way, makes her more evil than unaligned, this doesn't fit with her previous description that well. Sinister is good, but this treatment goes too much into "evil soul-hoarding". I prefer her as she was before - dark, not friendly, but with no concernable agenda as well. No name, just...

    May and Beyond previews

Also, the Kalashtar had Dual Mind as an ability in 3E. So in 4E, they either don't get it (because this is way too powerful for a racial ability) or Dual Mind of Quori monsters is different than a PC dual mind, which is confusing - and in the MM1 they even tried to avoid that. Cheers, LT.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder RPG Core Book - Cover Posted

I think the idea was like that: - WAR did great artwork, let's get him to do our core covers, as a lot of people like his artwork - PHB cover should focus on singular characters, as it is aimed on players - not monsters or so, leave that for the MM - Put a character of each gender on it - to...

    How was X-Men 3 bad?

It was just... flat. I can remember the first and second film pretty well, in terms of storyline and characters - if I think about the third, I only get pictures - Alcatraz, flying bridge, super telekinesis. That's it. It was a pretty film with nice effects, but very throwaway in terms of...

    MM2 Excerpt: Heroslayer Hydra

Exactly, in fact, it just makes the defender "more sticky", as the hydra *really* wants to attack the marking defender - and that's exactly what the defender basically wants. It's a pretty interesting mechanic, because it doesn't remove or cancels out a class ability, but instead plays along...

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder RPG Core Book - Cover Posted

Behold the power of art direction! Eh, just confirms my general opinion: 4E has a lot of awesome artists but a weird art direction that pushes them into a bit gaudy and comic-style colours and poses. Cheers, LT.

Shold Wizards release a revised MM1?

So is the PHBI - both are solid books that work, but I get the feeling that the newer books, starting with PHB2 and AP are more interesting in terms of options, i.e. they offer a lot more variety. The core books are very conservative with effects of powers and abilities of monsters. Cheers, LT.

    D&D 4E Stalker0's Alternate 4e Paladin: The Crusader

Like the induced mad changes - every class should look like that - one favoured main ability and then one secondary ability per build (and please, go over the other classes to do that, especially the wizard). I'm not sure whether I like Divine Infusion - any reason why you didn't make it a...

    Heroes #25:An Invisible Thread/Season 3/2009

It is the problem that plagued Heroes since the end of the first season: Great characters with a bad plot and mediocre pacing. Cheers, LT.

Arcane Power: How long before the pirated copy appears

Well, thanks for reminding me about that. Amazon.co.uk got very, very cruddy with 4E books in the last couple of months - really disappointed, whereas the core set arrived right on time, back then. :erm: In a way, it's deeply unsettling that pirates get their stuff faster than I do. However...

    Arcane Power- Wizards Stretched Thin

Also, thanks to Storm Pillar issues, according to their latest ruling, they apparently distinguish between enter and move into. So Wall of Fire just got weird, because you can throw people into it without hurting them. And cause fear does, but command doesn't. That ruling just made Wall of Fire...

    Vulnerability as a Striker Enhancement

Or it could make a pretty cool striker with an aura effect - a bit like the child of Prime Shot and the damage boosters - an aura of induced vulnerability. Can be really flavourful, if done right. Cheers, LT.

    Heroes #24:I am Sylar/Season 3/2009

Well, yeah, these two things contrast each other starkly, no? The character Sylar is worn out, outplayed... and right now, I start to think they should just rename the show "Sylar". On the other hand, Quinto *is* compelling to watch. While my enthusiasm for Heroes went down, scenes with Sylar...

Forked Thread: GTS 2009 D&D Seminar - 4e video game

Exactly - Jade Empire delivered a great RP experience with a biiiig plot twist - despite being closer to a twitch game than a "classic" RPG like BG. The only problem is probably: 4E will not port 100% into a CRPG - because it was designed as a tabletop game. But a good adaption needs to take...
