Will plasmas work in this configuration? Their cost is dropping like a rock as well. Craigslist is crawling with ads for all types of TVs.

I agree with this. It's really about the best you can do. But at least this version gives you the opportunity to make these kind of descriptions, better than "I hit, then I hit again."

This. Somehow, someway, we're going to convert my 4th-level game over to 4e. I just DM'ed my first battle (see "Goblin Swarm!") Wed. night, and have no desire to go back.

One of my players just informed me that charge is a standard action. Add in your move action, and you would indeed be able to go 12 squares or so and still attack (at +1). If this is right, it really changes the battlefield. And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that the ranger did indeed...
