I can answer this: It's a Fort save, so different monsters will be more vulnerable. It's not a Reflex save, so Evasion doesn't work. If I was keeping the 3.0 buff spells duration, I'd probably change the bonus to a flat +2. Before 3.5 was announced I considered this, along with a 4th level version at +4, and a 6th level version at +6. That could work for you. --Seule
