<looks to the right and top of screen> I don't think when WotC put together the "Play 4e NOW" flash ads, this is what they had in mind. This must be very disappointing for WotC, as if these pirated pdfs do have the color bars and crop marks on them, either they or their printer has a leak.

Well, I think it's a stylized rendition of the Wild Hunt, set in somewhere like Eberon. I'd say the mount is obviously a half-dragon, and the rider is something like a Broo from RQ. And the hellhounds just haven't started breathing yet. dunno.

BBBZZZTTTTT!!!! Wrong! I like them. As a matter of fact, as you quoted me, they are the only product of WotC's I've bought in the last 3 years. I have DT1-DT7, actually. Just because I think people are crazy for shelling out $50 a pop for these, doesn't mean I don't like them.

...and Descent is a fun game in and of itself. This is freakin' crazy how much people are paying for DT1 and 2! These are the only products from wotc I've bought in the last 3 years, and I'm wishing I would have left them in the shrink wrap now!

There area fistful of events listed as WotC/AH in the catalog right now, an Axis & Allies tourney, and Axis and Allies casual play. Dunno what to make of that and the lack of other stuff.

Just another thought: if yo guys are hard-up for cheap pre-painted minis, look into buying up some old mage knight minis, then bust them off the base and remount them. I'm pretty happy with the 30 or 40 I've done this way.

Relatively cheap, a good/better than I could paint them, and I don't have to spend the time....I like 'em. I picked up some skeletons, the Troll, and a few Ogres. Hope they keep this line going....would love to see some of their other sculpts pre-painted.

Sticking with the 1e Greyhawk game I DM, and I imagine the 3.5 DL game I play in will stick with 3.5. I don't see me running or playing 4e, except the occasional one-shot at a Con or something.

Well, it depends on what material you plan on using for each setting. I would take the: -1983 GH boxed set + modules published up until 1985 over -"The Known World + X1" from the 1981 Expert boxed set, which I would take over -Mystara as defined in GAZ 1 only, which I would take over...
