Casters, are the fort saves on most monsters too high?

I always (90% of the time – it's a campaign running gag) make the Reflex save for my monsters, even when they're giants or some such. So... are the Reflex saves on most monsters too high?

So how much worse have arguements gotten on Enworld?

That's a good guess. (I will probably be left behind, btw)

    300 trailer

I don't like when people have only "normal, unemotional voice" and "SCREAM". By the third "THIS IS WHERE WE FIGHT", I was bored. And the music might fit Sin City, but here? I guess I'd better read the comic, because the idea is interesting.

I want to do something cool Every Round!!!

Amen. I hate it when players lose all interest because their specialty is suddenly not in demand. A rogue grows sullen when you fight undead or he can't flank, a wizard that leaves the room when you face a golem, etc. (Yes, these things have happened).

What classes would Xena and Gabrielle be in D&D?

Yeah, compared to Xena Callisto definitely is a "straight fighter" ... :)

Where would you hide your phylactery

Imprisonment is a great idea. Bury it with a loyal creature that can teleport, so if intrepis adventures unearth it it may immediately flee.

I want to do something cool Every Round!!!

I got mixed feelings here. From a designing point of view, I can understand having abilities x/encounter, since it helps making a challenging encounter (now, you might not know whether the group will be rested or down on spells when they come to the final fight). I also think the forced rest is...

    New Halfling Favoured Class?

Favored Soul. I like some cleric-y favoring. I'm always assuming that favored classes make it to the Core Rulebook, too. That's why gnome = artificier.

    Storn's art for swipin'!

Our group is still discussing. One hasn't answered yet, another practically demands that we cough up the dough for background, too :) But yeah, these pics rock!

    Ceramic DM -- Fall '06 ** yangnome wins! **

So Hank = Green Arrow? Robert = Hulk (though the name doesn't fit)? I got no idea. Please spoiler the secret names of modern hero and ancient dragonlord for those who are too dumb to find out.

DMs, How Often Do You Declare Circumstance Bonuses/Penalties?

I don't use it as often as I should, or would like to.

I want to do something cool Every Round!!!

If you don't know who "they" are, then their subterfuge has been succesful, or you just pretend because you're one of them. In other words, don't listen to Rodrigo, or they just might knock on your door some day and take you away...

Sagiro's Story Hour Returns (new thread started on 5/18/08)

Whew. I'm through. And what can I say except: Excellent! Great players, very cool characters, and of course rat bastardy schemes aplenty! What amazes me most is that this campaign has not only been going on for ten or so years, but that it still expands on the story and threads laid out all...

    Advice Needed

You really want advice, here it is: Don't talk to EnWorld, talk to the group. I'm going to assume it's not your usual style of play, characters killing each other in vulnerable moments, because you seem conflicted about it and Chimera's player would be upset, too. And yes, you could make a...
