    Rpgnow creditcard information stolen

I don't get this. Why do you want to get a message when your information clearly cannot be stolen, because it was never there? Of course, a general announcement on the site would have been helpful.

    Rpgnow creditcard information stolen

Okay, I understand your reasoning, even though I take it as a given that you don't compromise CC info if you don't get it in the first place, because you only use Paypal.

    Rpgnow creditcard information stolen

Oh, sorry. I must have mixed you up with someone else. I'll edit the post above. And yes, the whole thing was a bit blunt for my taste, too.

    Rpgnow creditcard information stolen

I don't think DMH means you. I suspect he's talking about the company that got the rpg.net thread being closed. After a clear moderator warning not to do such a thing ;).

What's the difference between D20 Fantasy and D&D?

This was answered further above: To get adventure material and inspiration. As there isn't hardly anything produced for older editions, the 3.x stuff can be pilfered.

A thing about d20 D&D I didn't like, and still don't know why it was done...

The way this problem was solved was giving the fighter better feats. In PHB II. That's a solution without further complicating the system.

SW saga edition overview at WotC

You can always take a lawyer to the battlefield :). I'm really curious how all the changes will work out. I like the class changes. The jedi dichotomy looked always a bit artificial, the fringer was lacking a niche and the tech specialist was a weak one-trick-pony. I'll have a look at how the...

Conan RPG - What do I need?

    I think that's a good choice. That's exactly what I have :).

What's the difference between D20 Fantasy and D&D?

For me, d20 fantasy is D&D 3.x material from companies that didn't pay to use the name D&D. Plus D&D 3.x itself.

    2006 WotC D&D Product Survivor - Round 8

@Glyfair: Why do you hate the number 8? Perhaps, 7 is your lucky number ;).

What sort of product do you want to buy that no one is producing?

For dramatic reasons - as usual :).

Do you plan to grab the new Star Wars Saga book to use for D&D?

Hehe, I agree :). Nevertheless, if the mechanics are sound the game will the basis for some solid space opera. Just forget about that SW nonsense. I don't think that SW as a setting is salvageable in any meaningful way.

Do you plan to grab the new Star Wars Saga book to use for D&D?

I'll definitely pick it up, but intend to use it for Space Opera. Although I like the force system as a streamlined magic system, I'm a bit too lazy to extend it enough to be viable for fantasy use.

    The New Rules Cyclopedia

I think you are wrong in this point. They acknowledged already years ago that the bulk of their products isn't sold via game stores but via Borders or amazon. As for the idea of a Rules Cyclopedia, it sounds intriguing, as long as it stays in general compatible with D&D 3.5.

Is there anyone interested in artifacts *looks innocently*? j/k ;)

    2006 WotC D&D Product Survivor - Round 5

Fair enough. Perhaps, I should just look at one of them. Not that I'd never buy stuff just because I'm curious. Although it should contain a theme I'd actually use ;).

What sort of product do you want to buy that no one is producing?

My homebrew campaign setting as a lavishly illustrated hardback. What? Okay, okay. Then let's say Dark Sun. Or better something in a simlar vein without the edition wars.

    2006 WotC D&D Product Survivor - Round 5

May well be. My decision not to buy them was more based on what I saw of "mixed use" maps in Dungeon or Dragon. They looked different from most RPG maps, with funny walls and obstacles everywhere. If this is not the case with the FL maps, tell me :).

    2006 WotC D&D Product Survivor - Round 5

This discussion brings me to question the sense of these "survivor" threads. I'm not sure whether the "Fantastic Locations" products are still in the race because they are better than the products that have been voted off so far, or because most people here on EN World didn't buy them. At least...
