    D&D 4e PDFs at RPGNow

*sigh* This: Is not my definition of reasonable. I will not pay full price for a PDF. The 'sale' price almost makes them worth it. Too bad it's not about $5.00 less.

What are the odds of a reasonable price? I'm betting slim to none.

Left Behind [The Trilogy] : Any Good?

Hmm, that may indeed change things. Where did he go to seminary? Get his theological degree? Where does he go to church and what, exactly are his doctrinal beliefs? For which I have already apologised and corrected myself. Pot? Kettle? Indeed. I agree. Which is why I never finished the series...

Left Behind [The Trilogy] : Any Good?

Sorry, I did not mean to say that the author was Christian bashing. I don't think that at all. But I get the impression that many of his 'fans' are in it for exactly that, and I didn't see him stepping in to correct them. (Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. Just saying I didn't see it.) As for...

Left Behind [The Trilogy] : Any Good?

    1) You seem to be missing the part where I don't care how much the masses praise it. Many of them seem to be along simply for the Christian bashing ride, so their opinions mean little to me anyway. 2) It has nothing to do with whether it is about Left Behind or Miss Gertrude's Basement. If you...

Left Behind [The Trilogy] : Any Good?

Not sure I care what his religious beliefs are. Going through a book 2-3 pages at a time ripping it apart, and taking five years to do it, is pathetically obsessive. I think I'll pass, thanks all the same. I mean, I don't even listen to my friends do that with movies for more than ten minutes...

Left Behind [The Trilogy] : Any Good?

The books themselves were fairly enjoyable. (The first few anyway, I never finished the series.) No, they aren't the best prose written, but they aren't the atrocities everyone is making them out to be. I chalk that up to... nvm. Rules and all. If you want good post-apocalyptic fiction with...

AFI names Top 10 genre films

Well, then it's not really a 'best' list is it? It's more of a 'you should see these movies' list. And that's not a bad thing. Recommended movie lists are great. But not the same as 'Best'.

AFI names Top 10 genre films

Legend, yes. Conan, Sure. Ladyhawke... maybe. The only 'best' list Labyrinth should be on is maybe Best Kids Movie with Puppets. I mean, really.

[Necromancer] Necro still in for 4E!

:D Looking forward to your APG, possibly more than I am the FoF. Any idea if we're expecting an Oct release date on that?

[Necromancer] Necro still in for 4E!

The Folio of Fiends. Hm, not quite as good as Tome of Horrors, (IMHO) but a fine name that has a ring of 1st ed familiarity. Bravo. I look forward to it.

You reap what you sow - GSL.

So, there will be a 4e monster book but it won't be called Tome of Horrors? That's acceptable. Sucks to lose the name recognition though.
