True, however in D&D spears/pole arms require two hands, so shields are out. And they do LARGE amounts of damage. Which is the very definition of Striker. It seems to me, they heavily lean towards Strikers. I certainly see where some concern may be, considering the use of heavy armor. It does...

After reading this thread and seeing that people who ordered in the last couple of weeks have recieved their books, while I who pre-ordered in January have an estimated delivery date of June 17 - June 24. I make several large orders from Amazon a year. Have done so for serveral years. so...

Hate to rain on so many parades, but 'Illusionist' is hardly a new class to D&D. There were specialists in 3.x and they were a full blown class of their own in 1st/2nd. So, I'm thinking this is a no go. This makes much more sense to me.

N/A We aren't 'switching' systems. Rather adding 4e to the rotation. We will be playing 4e, 3.5, Shadowrun 2ed and the occasional d20 modern. (At least for the remainder of this year, in 2009... who knows?)
