I don't know about that. Notice that the bolded part makes it sound as if the compilation here at ENWorld was some kind of attempt at pirating the game. He very nearly equates it to the leaked PDFs. I mean, it could be an ENWorlder, but that sounds like an outsider to me.

My torrent-fu skills are weak, so I have been unable to locate said PDFs. Regardless, they woluld not affect my purchase of the physical books. PDFs are a convieniance, the books are what I need to run/play a game.

I always thought R. Jordan did decent (not great, but passable) Conan stories. The rest were pretty much trash as far as I'm concerned.

Pretty much my thought exactly. The groups I played with 20 years ago roleplayed ALOT. My current group roleplays as well, but it' really not something that the 3.5 rules encourage. ~YMMV

DOOM RPG is a great game. I currently have Golden Axe on my phone and I have to say... Meh. The screen is just too small and the enemies with reach can attack you across 3/4 of it.

The original, was indeed unique. It was the first time that a book tried to embrace D&D as the core of it's story. The way the mechanics are worked in is kind of clunky and the story as a whole is rough around the edges, but it's a fun read and it's a piece of D&Ds history. I recommend reading...

I'll be Flumph/DM our first 4e campaign. So, until one of the 3e campaigns end (later this year) I have lots of time to see different classes in action and decide then.

I agree with everything except killing Mohinder. I think he's one of the more interesting characters. I agree with others though, I'm not looking forward to season 3 nearly as much as I was season 2. But... the DVR is still set to record it, so it gets another chance before I write it off...

Indeed. Second recommendation for Witchworld and Quag Keep. Although Quag Keep is pretty hard to come by these days. There is also a recent sequal, Return to Quag Keep, but I haven't read it yet. Other good ones I remember reading, The Zero Stone, The Trillium books, and of course The Beast...
