Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

I read the paperback version of the novelization in the summer of 1977, before I had a chance to see the movie. I remember there were differences, of course. The one I still remember is Luke having actual conversations on Tatooine with his friends before they left to join the Rebels. And I think...

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

I would take another season of The Acolyte over another season of Andor.

Did You Back a Million Dollar TTRPG Kickstarter? How's The Game?

Right, just the PDF of the core book and some bonus digital stuff is available. The last email update said physical stuff may start shipping out in September, or about a year later than originally promised. I was expecting to easily have everything by Christmas 2023, partly as a present for...

Trailer LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy | Official Trailer

I see that one of the padawans from Young Jedi Adventures has a Sith version in this show, the little alien Nubs, so if anyone here has little kids that watch that show, you may need to be prepared for them to freak out at seeing an evil version of a loved character.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew - coming Dec 2024

From what has been said in interviews, yes, that was exactly how it was pitched.

Not DnD| TTRPGs that are Not DnD for August

So is Era D10 influenced by the classic D10 dice pool system that is used to the World of Darkness games, as when I hear a game has a D10 system, that is the first thing I think of.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew - coming Dec 2024

My guess is they steal it from the pirates in an escape attempt and that is the pirate name for the ship.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew - coming Dec 2024

No, their ship is called the Onyx Cinder. There are several images of it out there, including the LEGO version, but I can't add an image right now.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew - coming Dec 2024

I would have to dig up the quotes, but it has been confirmed to be part of the Mandoverse and will be one of the shows that ties into the Mando movie that will wrap up all the shows. This other galaxy they end up in is likely the same one that Ahsoka is currently stranded in and they may work...

Marvel Presentation at SDCC Hall H

Maybe the Fantastic Four and the Incredibles are set in the same retro-futuristic 60's setting? ;) Would make for some amusing crossover content.

Marvel Presentation at SDCC Hall H

Or this is a version of Tony Stark, only he was orphaned shortly after birth and taken in by the Von Dooms and raised as Victor? Also, highly likely that his family history gets changed or never mentioned, as being negative about the Romani peoples has become one of those sensitive subjects. Not...

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

I saw a list online that also included an example from a canon comic book, I think about the Knights of Ren?

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Been a long time since I watched the prequels. But also, from the Obi-Wan series, we know he let one of them live, so he did not go in there so full of hate that no one survived.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

I don't think Anakin's changed in the Jedi Temple as he killed the kids because he was more following orders, than actually hating the kids. He did not know those kids, most likely, and was just doing his part in the Sith effort. If anything, his lightsaber should have bled to red when he was...

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

When the first movie was made, the three main child actors and their characters were the same age or only a year different. Daniel and Rupert were 11 and Emma was only 10. She was actually not old enough to get into Hogwart's at the time, if it were real, as the age for a 1st year was minimum of 11.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Mother Aniseya started it by getting into Torbin's mind and playing with his desire to return home, so as soon as he realized the twins would prove the Vergence was real, he could not stop himself and had to go and get them. So in a way, she brought about the witches' doom onto them.

Spoilers Star Wars: The Acolyte [Spoilers]

Timelords are Hobbits. They don't go on adventure unless they have to or are the very rare one with wanderlust.

    Spoilers Doctor Who 2024 (spoilers)

Yes, this new season, and the three specials, definitely felt like they were getting back to the more traditional "children's show" that was Classic Who. Modern Who tried too hard to be "grown-up" and serious complicated and a lot of it I just did not enjoy.
