Part 6 In which the adventurers save a town besieged by a demonic army.

The called shot feat is up. Nobody actually has it yet, but it came up last session so I tossed something together.

Part 4 Actually sessions 2 and 3. They finish up the the intro adventure and learn something fundamental (and fundamentally deadly) about he universe.

Is there a dispel magic version that causes damage based on how much it dispels?

Part 3 It's been a funky couple of weeks, so it's really short.

Part 2 The monk finally gets to show his stuff, to devestating effect. A new PC is introduced, alongside a new NPC cohort. lots of near deaths and by the end of it the NPC cohort is a revenant just waiting to die so she can be revivified. There's a lot less detail because I had a very busy week.

That's what I figured, but it didn't hurt to ask. :) Paying 1 less for powers is still nice, though I don't think it's worth the two feats I paid for it. That's what retraining is for. :)

I agree as well, but there was a debate about it at the game last week. The DM ruled that Earth Power lowered the final number of power points spent, so it didn't grant the ability to get more augmentation. If there's something official I can point to that explains it, I will. But if it's just...

Is there a rulebook, FAQ, or Sage answer that explains how reducing the cost of a power affects the power points spent? In other words, an official stance on whether lowering a power's cost means you can augment it more? For example, given the feat Earth Power, how many dice can a psion get...

It seems obvious to me that some designer screwed the pooch on this one, and didn't realize that Helpless was supposed to be a rider to other conditions. It doesn't make any sense on its own. It's the only thing out there that can make you helpless on its own, at least according to the compendium.

Rangers could do the same with Beast powers, and have more oomph of their own (though a lot less healing).

There may be an article or two about it in Dragon, which will leak out slowly in discussion threads. Even barring that, the little we already have been told (80% hp, 150% damage) is enough to quickly and easily get a rough conversion for any MM1 monster. The guideline could stand to be more...

+1 Skewering Javelins are really cheap, and a hit will drop any flier without hover. I don't see either of those in DDI. What are they?

What nasty uproar? The online community will have a few threads about it, but it's a small percentage of sales. Most DMs will likely not even notice the change, and of those that do, many will have DDI subscriptions and get new stuff automatically. Yes, they'll lose some sales because of this...
