I play with new CB on occasion, but until it is as good as old CB, I'm content to stick with old CB, even if I miss some of the newer feats.

It depends on what you consider homebrewed. The majority of my elites and solos are homebrewed (basically anything that isn't iconic), but normal monsters and minions I tend to just pull from the compendium and refluff.

I use to subscribe for the CB, MB, and the compendium. The compendium still retains enough value for me to stay subscribed, as I prefer the old style CB, at least for the moment.

I won't comment on the Rarity issue because I don't use it (and I'm holding my tongue about the rarity system in general). I'm more surprised they decided Tieflings were Cha + Con/Int and Half-Orcs were Dex + Con/Str as oppossed to the widely believed Int + CHa/Con and Str + Dex/Con respectively.
