Those traps in the last adventure were brutal. I played them out with a couple of groups and at least half them died, IIRC. The Patience one in particular killed so many.

I responded. They either need to tone down Making and Sentinel, or power up some of the other marks. Also, Mark of Hospitality having access to Magnificent Mansion at 8th level (potentially) is absurdly powerful and would make my Bard player pout as she finally got access to it at 13th level...

I'm pretty excited Eberron is back, but I'm less than enthused on the way it was brought back. I was hoping for a full sourcebook. So, I'm not sure how to answer this question.

An average monster gets average hit points (so the vast majority of creatures my party faces). A solo or boss monster gets at least maxed hit points and especially solo monsters get maxed and a half hit points. My party just hit 13th level at the end of last session and they average 150 dpr...

The idea works well for 2 out of every 3 rounds, but I'd personally rather put that mobility feat into either a ASI (Str or Con) or Resilient (Wis). I mean, you have d12 hit points and if you go bear you take half damage from everything. Just tank with your face. You'll be fine.

Pit Fiend, so CR 20 at level 11. They killed it in 2 1/2 rounds, although they did have help from a pair of NPCs (the Pit Fiend was gated into their midst by the BBEG, who used the opportunity to flee). The next highest was a Blue Dracolich upgraded to a full caster with access to level 8...

Between this and Keith Baker saying he was under a deadline for a big project, I can only hope. I really do believe it's likely the two settings will be Spelljammer and Eberron.
