yes it works. as long as you do legal movement and move at least 2 squares you can charge into any adjacent square. It's pretty good for charge oriented builds. A good reason to multi-class into Rogue for charge crazy barbarians, for instance.

Flame Bracers: The problem is, they don't really outperform Iron Armbands of Power. If I hit on 10-20, I deal 2 damage 50% of the time the the armbands. If I only do extra damage on a 19 or 20, I average 3.5 damage 10% of the time :( and the paragon item is not much better, and too expensive...

that's a good idea, but the decision has been made to go for glaive, in order to combine polearm gamble, momentum and heavy blade opportunity for maximum DM frustration.

It's good, but I always prefer to spend my stuff on offense unfortunately it only works if I crit with a fighter power, and that's going to be rare. Otherwise I would take it, because it seems to stack with the Rampage.

yeah that damn double sword abuse is getting on my nerves. Yeah right, you get a weapon that deals heavy blade damage and gets heavy blade feats and still gets all the carefully restricted benefits of light blades. It's so cheesy, in our group we simply banned that weapon, so the headache goes away.

Well, Rain of Blows is a no-brainer only if you qualify. You need Dex 15 and use light blades, spears or flails. Most fighter builds don't go that way. They have low Dex because with their heavy armor they don't need it anymore. They go for the heavy hitter weapons like Mordenkrad and Execution...
