I think Harry Potter would work best with a skill based magic system, especially if the game took place at Hogwarts. Charecters put ranks in a skill relating to a a small group of spells, and they make a check to cast the spell. The DC's would have to be low enough that high level charecters...
I like the design, but is there any reason you can't add more detail to the texture? Low poly ships are more dependent on texturing than more detailed models.
The starter kit I got from games workshop was significantly cheaper than its component parts, and everything but the Space Marine mini was useful to me.

On Ebay, its easy to check the reputation of a seller. If its high and the person has made a fairly large number of sales, you don't have much to worry about. Even if you are cheated, Ebay gives you some protection, but I can't remember the details.

If you don't own the majority of splatbooks, its worth far more than the retail price if you play a spellcaster. If you do own most splatbooks or don't play many spellcasters, it falls into the moderately useful catagory.
There in different series. The Tome of Battle is in the "New System" series (weapons of legacy, Tome of Magic, Book of Nine Swords), not the Complete series.
