Druid liches aren't common, but they are possible ^_^ Especially with neutral evil druids. I actually have a druid lich character who has a deadly bloodrose vine snaking between their bones and has a penchant for undead plant monsters.

Actually, .rtf usually makes the file size larger. I use it because its easily convertable to just about any word processor format and the fact that I can't open word documents. I will look into send you guys something, Andrew. However, I am working on my own books extensively at the moment...

I've found uses for Crushing Hand when dealing with ogres and such of higher level, but the spells really aren't that useful.

Your DM isn't giving you any spellcasting enemies? Then, my friend, you could probably walk all over his game and he could do nothing about it :P Also remember that Protection from Spells protects from spell-like abilities of monsters too, not just normal spells cast by other spellcasters.

I don't want another edition. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am not rich and I can't afford to keep buying a new set of core rulebooks every 4 years. I think the rules are fine the way they are and should be left the hell alone for a while.

The problem with the wizard vs. the knights is the wizards are going to need a way to keep the knights off of them so they can cast spells. This is usually why most parties have a 'meat shield' character that allows the spellcasters to cast with a little protection. Now, if the wizards have...

As far as 8th level spells go, I would probably pick Mind Blank and Protection from Spells. You don't always need a combat spell whenever you gain a new level of spells. At your level, you should probably be developing your own spells anyway.

I pretty much allow my wizard players to use their starting money to purchase scrolls and such for their spellbooks. I also allow them to develop their own spells in addition to gaining the normal spells every level. Not to mention the occasional spellbook of an enemy spellcaster ^_^

Too bad she doesn't have a dealer. I would probably buy some of these sculptures :P

I am using AOL and it's been a Server 500 Internal Error message for quite a whole now. I don't think whoever is messing with the ASP knows what the hell they're doing.
