Which Class or classes do you feel are unbalanced-too powerful?

Cleric. After 10th level, there's nothing any character can do that the Cleric can't do better. Divine Metamagic just made it even more obscene.

What have you done to REALLY make your players hate an NPC?

Balabar Smenk, from the Age of Worms, has leapt to the top of my PC's hate list owing mainly to his obnoxious, condescending, Jabba the Hutt like manner. He invited them to his place for dinner, and took every opportunity to lord it over the PCs with shows of wealth and reminders of his power...

    Case Study: Wraithstrike

The problem with it is simple: Gish craziness. Any fighter mage will go out of their way to get this spell, since it is so good. Gish with a greatsword, up close in the second round does this: Free action release one hand, swift action cast Wraithstrike, free action resume grip, FULL POWER...

    Complete Series

I can't speak for others, but my issue with the Orbs and Blast of Flame is that they're not conjurations. You're creating energy and using it to deal instant damage, and that's what evocations do. Conjuration attack spells, like Melf's and I-Cloud deal set damage dice over a duration. They...

The other problem is how fast it can stack up its caster levels, especially when you build it as an Ur-Theurge.

Yes it can. You roll and add half of that to the maximised value. I also like Energy Substitution, gives you more options.

    Complete Series

Complete Warrior: Hulking Hurler is fine. Its the improvised weapon rules that are silly. By them, once STR cracks 18, you're better off ditching your weapon and grabbing the biggest piece of iron you can carry (light load) and sharpening it. Complete Divine: Divine Metamagic, Divine Spell...

    Artificers Overpowered?

As far as I'm concerned, its not. In the polymorph example, its because the results are mutually exclusive. From what I can tell, RAW, that's a valid use of the infusion, you're imbuing a different property each time, and most importantly, a weapon can have multiple properties. In the case...

    Artificers Overpowered?

By your logic, then you can't multibuff a person. I don't follow how you arrive at this conclusion. These aren't the same effect.

Druids suck? vs Shape Change and Polymorph

And for powergaming sweetness, take 2 levels of MOMF, then go into Nature's Warrior. IIRC, your Improved Wild Shaping from the MOMF continues to advance, you get extra abilities (like Fast Healing 1), two caster levels back, a fighter's BAB, and finish up with Extraordinary Wild Shape to boot!

    Evil helps the wound

The Knights of Takhsis from Dragonlance have a code of chivalry even stronger than the Solamnic Knights. They're as evil as they get, but they're honourable about it. Maybe that's the deal here, and he's chosen to help the 'weak', helpless woman. Then he plans to take her with him and get...

3 core books vs. 1 core book

In theory, you only need the WoD book and the Fatsplat. In practice, its a nightmare to give any direction without more info, IME and others. Werewolf in particular, you really need either Hunting Grounds: The Rockies and/or Predators.

    Hexblade

A Guisarme or Halberd is a fantastic choice for a Hexblade, since they can get 2 for 1 power attack, and trip with them. The curse reduces the opponent's ability to resist tripping.
