You might be correct on "silverlight". :) I just don't think WOTC understands gamers, and unyielding need to see a game sooner than now. I wonder how many DLs they will have had after say the first 48 hours.

Is the Ogre really that tough? Compare that the room with 22 5-hp Goblins. That is 100+ hp of goblins. The Ogre only attacks once a round (yes doing good dam), but as to 22 Goblins attacking 22 times (fairly epic to me). The Ogre might be the easier combat or at least less lethal.

I Have enjoyed playing 4e since it arrived, but I so agree with you. 1 or 2 cool powers (maybe only 1 recharge power) rather than a load of so-so powers, sounds so much better. I would like 5eNext to have cool monsters, yet I prefer if those monsters can be rather simple & easy to run.

If your players don't DL the rules, then they will not be able to supple any feedback. If you love or hate the playtest, it does no good, if WOTC never hears about it. Although it might be fun, Feedback is the whole point of the playtest.

I truly detest the 3e wand of CLW, but It's crafting wands that lets PC have an almost unlimited supply of wands, not cash. I disagree on the PC's cash control.That is the DM's job, to run a good game, but run the game he or she chooses. Letting the PC scheme or scam money is just poor DMing...
