What's The Deal With D&D Translations?

i find it funny that there is an Australian Flag in the graphic above. The national language of Australian is English. There is no need for a localisation here.

Here's the SWORD COAST ADVENTURER'S GUIDE!

See this is what happens when you Print in the US. If this was made in Germany Id at least also be getting a book that disguises its page count or effect on the environment.

D&D Adventurers League Amendments to Out of the Abyss

The only addition I would actually make to the document is also to have it include the Downtime/Renown points in it as its a question thats constantly asked and deserves just as much attention. Saying per chapter is good, but considering some Chapters are reused it would be good to address. I...

The Angry GM on D&D Encounters

Exactly what Raddu says above. Im in a lot of facebook groups. If Im reading something in say 'AL Discussion' then it damn well needs to be about AL. I have no interest in reading what someone is doing in their home game with Warforged and Birdmen when I know the game cant possibly be AL. Its...

    Moonsea Maps

Unlikely as the Moonsea in Faerun is a looooong way from the Sword Coast. It has the Anauroch Desert, the Western Heartlands, the Dales region between it. The Sword Coast book should logically have maps dedicated to the Sword Coast region. Like you Im a visual person, Im also a big lover of...

Sword Coast Legends is not D&D

I just wish the Mandate had been more 'Stick to the 5e rules and if that means that the game has to be a single player focus then so be it'.

    Howling Void AL module (spoilers)

It's good to see you still around and gaming Horus! We used to have great chats in the channel but then I thought you had given up gaming. Ive yet to run Howling Void myself but from my initial read I wouldnt even try to finish it in 4 hours.

Character Motivation: My Local Experiences (Warning Spoilers and possible Alignment discussion)

Steve MND: I also have a lot of what Id term Casual Gamers. They turn up because they know there is a game on. They know I will bring extra blank character sheets, that I will have my PHB and minis on me, my maps and blank logsheets. 80 percent of the table do not bring blank logsheets they...

Philosophical approaches of PFS and Adventurer's League

I think its great that Wizards are trying to support the stores with AL play. I also understand that a lot of people live remotely and have no store in their local town/ other. The options are varied as to how to get involved in AL and have been stated by many more senior people than I above...

The Angry GM on D&D Encounters

Which is why you are posting here and this IS a Social Media Forum. Im guessing you are more upset with the Official Forums going but lets be honest, we can have the exact same conversations here and have been for a long time. And you are right. Id actually indicate Facebook as a very poor...

    LE Paladin in Adventurer's League

ive actually had players also not actually pick alignments. Ive never actually picked up on it because the circumstances to find out have never existed (ie no use of alignment targeting spells). (and yes this is in AL games)

Character Motivation: My Local Experiences (Warning Spoilers and possible Alignment discussion)

It is entirely possible then that I have a share of average roleplayers locally then, because a lot of people seem to equate having fun with doing whatever the hell they want in game.

Character Motivation: My Local Experiences (Warning Spoilers and possible Alignment discussion)

Hi, First Ill get my prideful statement out of the way. For some time, Ive been running AL in 2 locations. Its taken a bit out of me (I also run Wed Encounters) and Ive been looking to recruit another Expeditions DM. I finally have found one I hope and we both ran Shackles of Blood last...

DM Discussion thread: The Occupation of Szith Morcane

At My local African restaraunt, they make these mini size cakes. They are half cakes on the menu ( so in this case I think inside of calling them small cakes.. the half word is simply them stating they are half the size of a normal cake). They arnt particuarly sweet and more remind me of a...

D&D 5E (2014) Primeval Thule for 5th edition: Wizards I hope you are taking notes.

Im actually a bit confused. How is Sasquatch releasing a Primeval Thule 5e when there isnt a OGL/anything similar for it yet? Are they hedging that because they did Princes of the Apocalpyse its like a free card to create their own 5e stuff because they think the Wizards Lawyers wont target them...
