I too prefer to play the originals over clones. That said, I tend to play my own written game now, which has an old-school feel.

I haven't been playing for some time, but I picked up the DW PDF for nostalgic reasons. I used to play it and once owned all of th eoriginal books, and it is a great read. Simple rules, great campaign setting.

Got it. Played it. Love it. As stated, it is pretty faithful to the board game rules. I have been playing the single player competitions and have had good success so far.

I have the original Master set and have played it a few times with friends. I love it. I am a wargamer and find that HeroScape is good to get non-gamers into a wargame situation.
