Sweet. Let me know how you like it. We have a new website coming soon with the whole Paizo announcement later this week. One thing that disturbs me about 4e is the lack of fluff. I think the rules are solid, but I miss all of the evocative text that comes with it.

Rules are icing on the cake. I'm much more impressed with good fluff descriptions for monsters. If you've seen Denizens of Avadnu you'll see that we placed a lot of importance on fluff.

Is it all fluff or are there rules in there? This one definitely came under my radar. Worth a peek for sure as we all know I love monsters!

Who ever said that they would be randomized? If I recall, when I asked at D&D Experience, they said you could buy whatever you wanted. Did that change?

Its threads like this they make me WISH I had any gaming store within 60 miles let alone a FLGS. Talk to them about it. OK. But you don't get Str or Dex modifiers to damage for Careful Attack either?

Under the Ranger power for twin strike, it doesn't say you add the Strength modifier bonus to damage on melee attack. That's a typo, right?

When we printed Denizens of Avadnu, we had that done in Thailand and it took 6 weeks until it was in the warehouse and then maybe a week or two to ship to gaming stores. I'd say for books done by Wizards in the US they'll be in stores in about 3 to 4 weeks tops.

My friend pre-ordered his from Amazon last week and they already shipped. I ordered mine two months ago and they still haven't shipped. I'm getting an estimate of June 10th. I am so pissed... He's already making fun of me. :(

I'm talking Core Rulebooks. All we'll have come Friday is what's in the PHB. Expert or not, you can't tell me that the Druid was as good at healing as a Cleric was. And I'm not sure if the Wizard/Controller is necessary in 4e as I haven't played without one hence the whole point of this thread...

Friday I'm going to come down with a severe case of Anal Glaucoma. I just can't see my @$$ coming into work. :lol: I just hope my Amazon books ship soon. I ordered them months ago and a friend who just ordered them last week had his ship. WTH?

Agreed, but this isn't a thread about marketing. Its a thread about the need of a Wizard in 4e being just like a Cleric was needed in 3e. I removed the link to my blog review several posts ago. If you want to talk about RPG marketing start a new thread and I'll gladly join in.
