Does the Character Builder not count for some reason?

I hope they add the Alchemy rules from Adventurer's Vault too. If you ask me, those should have been in the Player's Handbook in the first place. Glad to see more classes being added in. I hope its the druid, bard, sorcerer, and barbarian. We'll see soon enough I guess...

I've been hearing people talk about this book for ages. I just picked it up along with Thieves World from Paizo. Looking forward to reading them.

Bah. In terms of how much they could handle, yes. I saw the demo for it at DDXP last year and it was coming along great. I think they did the smart thing. The put everything behind the scenes and they'll give us an update when its available. Doesn't anyone give them the benefit of the doubt...

The hair Joe, look at the hair. No human in his right mind would have hair like that! :lol: I like a lot of Steve Argyle's work, but not that piece. Maybe its just the picture, but yuck. Then again, I've always hated gnomes so maybe its my racial prejudice.

My only complaint is the sword play. Its really sloppy in a lot of areas, and if I was making a movie about Drizzt in any capacity, this would have to be spot on which it sadly isn't. Drizzt needs to move like those blades are natural extensions of his body and the actor looked really clumsy...

We'll still be doing PDFs of the material. Don't worry about that. That's basically the idea. Present a cohesive and detailed setting and try to get people interested in it enough via the wiki to purchase our other PDFs and print products.

Part of it is, yes. Another factor that played into this was the massive cutting of fluff from 4th Edition. Avadnu is a really evocative world with a lot of detail behind it. One of our race descriptions for instance has more fluff text then all of the races in the 4e PHB combined. The way 4e...

Next week we are going to be introducing the Violet Dawn Wiki on our Violet Dawn Website. The wiki will feature all of the fluff from our Violet Dawn products and new information that we have never released. The wiki will remain rules free so the setting can be enjoyed by players of any edition...

I understand all of that. I used to help out Magnificent Egos and running a miniatures business is a real pain. One question though. How come the miniature packs for Heroscape are so much cheaper? I don't think that the quality is that much different. I would happily pay for Heroscape quality...

I would use foam core for the walls. The fog of war effect will be tough, but you can design it in pieces so that you only reveal a bit at a time.
