Gave up about half way through The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. This is pretty much why I'm hesitant to pick up any book over 500 pages; too much minutia and too little actually happening. Currently enjoying Song of the Dragon by Tracy Hickman.

Verizon FIOS (around Boston at least) has a number of Fox shows On-demand (in HD too). They're usually a week behind. I don't think any DVRs can handle preempted shows elegantly yet.

Got mine yesterday and leafed through it last night. It's a beautiful book. What I found surprising is that for it's size, the book is much lighter than I expected (definitely less than the PFRPG core book which has a smaller page count).

Some thought actions points are some sort of "cheat" but all agreed to try them for a few sessions before passing final judgment. Combat reactions were a big hit. The 5' step thing was considered common sense as was the allies and cover change. The rest didn't really apply for that session.

This was probably one of my favorite episodes. I think it was it had a more upbeat tone to it. While we still had the wrong people in the wrong place, people actually laughed in this episode. I loved the giggling when the scientists read the possible side effects to the surgery, it felt real.
