    Touch Attacks

As far as I know, yes. It is still a melee attack, so why wouldn't you?

1st-level characters in the Tomb of Horrors

Probably not. Each trap would probably kill most of the party. Even the ones they found, which would be very unlikly. Then of course what few monsters are in the dungeon, would be so much more powerful then the party. The checks needed to find the traps. The saves needed to survive. How tough...

Could this be the future format of 4th Edition D&D?

With the exception of numbers 6 and 7. This sounds very much like the red boxed Dungeons and Dragons. For those of you who were not playing or even alive at the time. It was a boxed set, had 2 or 3 thin paper booklets. Very stream lined rules (for what rules there were), and one deadly factor...

Could this be the future format of 4th Edition D&D?

The more I read peoples responses to this idea. The more I see an RPG that is currently suffering becouse of a similar (be it not as far) change. The current edition of RuneQuest from Mongoose Publishing. They took a game that quite frankly was very simple compared to DnD. Then tried to make it...

Could this be the future format of 4th Edition D&D?

I will pass on this glorified board game.

    Fun dungeon crawl modules

Ruins of Undermountain You don't even need the booklets that come with the maps. Just the maps are enough for you to heve the party do many "runs". Make sure to add in that the people in the tavern will be betting on how many of them will return and in what kind of shape. I always play that...

Which class is the most useless?

In the groups I play with. The Bard is called the Tard. No one has been able to play one that has been useful.

Deck of Many Things: Your experiences and advice?

Love them both as a player and as a DM. Many campaignes I have played and DMd have had them appear. Normaly they endup helping the party overall. The worst that has ever happened is one of the other players (I was playing that game) drew the Void. So we all grinned and he made a new character...

    When building a new PC...

99% B, 1% A here, so I voted mostly B. Rarely do I have any real concept on how the character will play till after we have been playing a session or six. Normaly I don't even have a characters name till sometime late during the first session.

    TORCHWOOD Finale - spoilers

They all ready did add in an easy scape-goat for this. When Rose was going to be killed due to absorbing/combining with the TARDIS. The Doctor took all that power from her and said something akin to "I have absorbed all the powers of the Time Lords". So they could possibly use that as a way to...

    PDFs: Why are people anti-watermark?

Your right locks are NOT put in place to keep honest people out of something. But all locks can be gotten through or around by someone who is not honest. Lock = keep someone from taking something When someone does break into something that has been locked up (and depending on what they were...

    PDFs: Why are people anti-watermark?

Hence my earlier question, what real use do watermarks do? If there is no real punishment for sharing said materials, then why use it? Remember a lock (in the case your useing a door lock) only keeps an honest person from getting in.

    PDFs: Why are people anti-watermark?

So what is the whole point of watermarks if not as a way to prevent people from copying/printing something for sale? If the watermarks are not visable unless you are looking for them, then they might as well not even have them in the product. When watermarks and other such protective filters...

    PDFs: Why are people anti-watermark?

Excessive ink usage when you print the PDFs instead of just having your computer next to where you game so you can stop game play to pull up the file(s) your wanting to reference.

    Cure Minor Wounds 1/Minute

I am starting to get the feeling the reason people are in such disagreement over this kind of an item stems more from gameing style, then anything else. It seems those who think the cost is to high. Are baseing that view due to how "unuseful" it is in combat (or between combats). While the...

    Cure Minor Wounds 1/Minute

Nope, the items in the DMG are priced as per the book. Part of the reason they are priced how they are comes from the fact that they are the most commanly producted items. So as something so easly avalible to create, the magicical aurea (weave, force, whatever) actualy makes them easier (hence...
