Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

Mostly RP, I think. I've got a reasonably complicated backstory this time. I will squeeze in a decent amount of combat because I like the crunch. Light on the mystery. Detective novels are not my thing.

It's true that the party is a bit light in the melee department. What do you think, guys? Do you need a meatshield or two?

I have never played a warlock, myself, so I have no idea how to build one. I will say, though, that the class seems rather weak at lvl30. Sure, you get unlimited use of your abilities, but your damage output just isn't all that great, and your versatility is far behind the primary casters...

It's time. Four posts in the RG, which I suppose makes this easier. Players: Wrahn, Kafkonika, Azaar, Shayuri. Now: polish up your characters, peeps. I want everything down and legal. You have one week.

8 hours from the deadline and I have a grand total of two posts in the RG. What's the holdup, yo?

I meant the original polymorph articles. Not 'polymorph revisited'. Either way, you do get Con-to-HP. And druid wildshape still refers to Polymorph, not alternate form. Essentially, we are sticking to the original Polymorph rules, whatever they might be.

No. Neither ability mentions anything about Swift actions, so it's redundant. Ignore the PHBII polymorph rules. I haven't had time to look over these in detail, and am more comfortable with the old ones. Read the WotC Rules of the Game articles on Polymorph. I will be using those...

Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

relevant feat text: "If you would normally be allowed to add your Wisdom bonus to AC, (such as for an unarmored, unarmed monk), ..." Note that monk is used as an example. Ninja would certainly qualify. In fact, since magical items can aid in qualification for feats, even a monk's belt will...

Ah. Missed that one. Avasculate and Avascular Mass are now both 'Fortitude negates'. The Perfect doesn't have an alignment, not even N, and he accepts followers of all alignments. Alternatively, clerics (and, by extension, anyone taking Arcane Disciple) can worship an abstract ideal of...

Split Ray. With IM it's only +1 spell level. It's the poor man's Twin Spell. Remember what I said about alignment switching. You can't be a CN monk.

Wrahn: -you can't have a shield and the monk AC bonus at the same time. -your attack rating is pretty poor... -just so we're clear, here's the ruling on multiple metamagic: it all follows the precedent of Empower + Maximize. Namely, multiple metamagics do not affect each other. A Twinned...

Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

It's fine rules wise, but... why on earth would you want this on you? Not only is it harder to rez you, but also should you die all your gear dies with you. And it's not even a whole lot of damage.

    Where's this spell from?

Technically true, but being barely hours old means you can't switch alignments. If you're keeping the alignment, a monk's belt gets you most of the monk bennies.

Epic D&D 3.5: The Eye of Profane Truth [full]

You meet the requirements for the feat, so you can take it. However, the feat description mentions three distinct benefits: bonus to unarmed strike, stacking sorc/monk levels for AC, and free multiclassing between sorc/monk. You will get the first bonus, the other two are not applicable to...

weapons and armor are exceptions. you can customize them. you cannot, however, craft them using craft feats.

In that case, no. I meant that you need errata for the books I listed that are 3.0, such as BoVD and MMII. PGtF is not allowed. It doesn't work like that. Enhancement bonus to armor enhances the armor, not you. So a +5 chain shirt would give a total of +9 armor, but would not stack with...
