Full roster of PHB3 races known yet?

We don't know for sure, but I'd say that's also a safe bet.

    The Chump to God model

I chose "Dude to Badass" as that was the best of the two options provided, IMO. However, I think my ideal is "Dude to God."

Full roster of PHB3 races known yet?

No not sahuagin, they're a traditionally evil race, like the githyanki. ;) Locathah would be where it's at. :) Based on the wilden entry, many people (myself includeded) think it's a good bet that the battlemind will be a Con based class.

Full roster of PHB3 races known yet?

Some other items of speculation: I've recently heard about something called daelkyr half-bloods. Basically, a symbiont has bonded with a (usually) human host. That's pretty cool - perhaps it could be incorporated into a redesigned elan race. Another idea I've had is that they could riff off...

Full roster of PHB3 races known yet?

If there is a fourth race, I'm holding out hope that there'll be a psionic themed race with the aberrant keyword. I've read up a bit on the elan and they seem like a good basis. Perhaps they'll reimagine elan the same way they reimagined tieflings.

    Divine Challenge=Divine Sanction?

I don't really mind if swarms are vulnerable to DC damage by virtue of DC being a close burst. Indeed, having heard of that interpretation, I can justify how it might work - to me, a swarm's vulnerability to close and area attacks represent the extra damage these attack type do because the...

    Divine Challenge=Divine Sanction?

Well, reducing a paladin's effectiveness against swarms doesn't bother me, as I've never thought swarm's were vulnerable to DC damage before. :)

    Divine Challenge=Divine Sanction?

I agree, it probably would be best for all paladin marking powers to utilize Divine Sanction. Thanks, I use the 4e Power Toolkit to format new powers.

    Divine Challenge=Divine Sanction?

I'm hoping that one of these days they errata Divine Challenge so that if uses Divine Sanction terminology. For example, something like this: It doesn't really change anything, but I like how Divine Sanction tidies up and unifies the paladin's marking mechanic. Indeed, I think all of the...

    Stealth, doors, and attacks.

    EDIT - Never mind. :)

    Stealth, doors, and attacks.

I'd worry less about being kosher than I would about creating an entertaining encounter. In any case, the foundation of 4e's design is creating exceptions to the rule. I think it's perfectly acceptable for a published adventure to have an specially designed encounter area that plays to the...

    Goblins, the final PHB3 race?

I like goblins, and I'd be okay with them if they were in PH3. But I'm really hoping for a race with the aberrant creature type.

    Debut: Ardent

I view the ardent as someone who is constantly transmitting emotions. His allies can't help but be heartened by these transmissions, while his enemies find them a source of annoyance and despair. IMO, the ardent leads less by a firm command of tactics or keen understanding of motivation than...

    More Familiar!

I like the idea of using your gelatinous cube familiar as a mount, using that ritual. "Hi ho, Gelatinous Cube! Away!"

Both look good to me. Their naughty parts, of course.

Dragon #382 - More Toys for the Assassin

Changelings make great night stalker assassins, but gnolls are perfect fits for bleak disciple assassins.

    Who is Torog?

Well, from various Underdark excerpts we have many more details on Torog now. He's not so much god of the Underdark as he is trapped there. At some point during the Dawn Age, he got imprisoned in the nascent Underdark. In his rage, he tried to smash out but couldn't, so he "smashed sideways"...

    Ki Focus for Dummies

You know, I think the ki focus handles the idea of holy symbols very nicely. Indeed, one way to think of holy symbols is as ki focuses - the attunement process is praying with some symbol of your god, repeating psalms from some ancient religious text, and so on.

    Ki Focus for Dummies

A ki focus can be pretty much anything. A manual of fighting techniques, a little set of weights which you can use to exercise with, a small gem that you reflect and medidate upon, or whatever. It's just some thing that you attune yourself to through some activity, getting you the bonus...
