    Dwarven Dogs?

Unlikely. Such troubles might be associated with ice cream, or mustard, or a variety of vegetables, but no Finn has ever had any trouble acquiring a beer. It's like a racial ability, or something.

    Norker & Thoul pics

A primitive relative of the hobgoblin, with a tough hide and an obscene natural armour bonus.

    Dwarven Dogs?

It is a great irony, then, that in Finnish, the word for dachshund, "mäyräkoira", also means a twelve-pack of beer.

    Dwarven Dogs?

Stupid me. Of course, you are correct. El-remmen, #269 is the March 2000 issue (here's the cover, if that helps: http://www.larryelmore.com/popups/color/co171.htm ). I believe the current issue is #353.

    Dwarven Dogs?

Yeah, not to mention that the issue in question isn't even in the Archive...

    Dwarven Dogs?

One strong possibility is 169, with Dragon's Bestiary: Demihuman Pets. Along wth the yyllethyn (elven horse), crayghe (elven hawk), byut (fey deer), pennig (halfling pony), twill (pocket rat), and stoght (forest gnome fisher), it features the brak twan (dwarven tunnel hound) and the guttar...

DDM Set 14: Desert of Desolation

I'd be delighted to see an asherati. Perhaps also something from the summon desert ally lists. Oh, and sphinxes. We desperately need sphinxes.

If IKEA Made a Dedicated Gaming Table, Would You Buy It?

No. If a respectable furniture company made one, then I would consider it.

Leaving Significant Other at Home to Game on V-Day?

My games are on weekends, I'm single, and the Valentine's Day tradition is weak in Finland. What little there is, I hate. So, I'll stay home alone and watch something cheerful, like Battle Royale or Munich.

    Greyhawk's doomgrinder

There's a module about the Doomgrinder, the third part of the Lost Tomb series, released in 1998. The first two parts explored the Star Cairns and the Crypt of Lyzandred the Mad. In the module, the Doomgrinder is revealed to be the remains of an ancient, powerful engine of war that was broken...

    Dragon 353 came early!

The tertian, which I don't think is among the common modrons, is in Dungeon #144, which is apparently the March 2007 issue.

    Dragon 353 came early!

    1. Dire lion? Didn't we get that back in Dragoneye? 2. MODRONS! ZOMGWTFROTFLMAOBBQ! This is the happiest day of my life! They're back! They're BACK! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

    Guns, D&D, and DDM

Sure, I've got nothing against a DDM figure with a gun, every now and then. A gnome gunslinger, a giff arquebusier, a Barrier Peaks explorer... D&D is a bit kitchen sinky. As long as the guns fit the setting, look good, and don't require me to read five pages of new rules, I'm game.

What gameworld would you want to be in?

Ah, but which would be more entertaining? To torture one person who thinks he's got it all figured out, or to release into the world the potential for enormous chaos and disruption for the highest bidder? Besides, there's precedence for the gods not bothering to do that.

What gameworld would you want to be in?

Forgotten Realms. I figure I could make a pretty good living imparting obscure lore and Zhent secrets to people capable of paying. Preferably from under the protection of someone capable of fending off the bad guys once they figure out who provided the Harpers a list of their undercover agents...

D&D 4E Hey everyone! If you're tired of 4e threads cluttering the forum...

There are only a bit over a hundred different 3E products from Wizards, and that's counting stuff like map packs and DM screens. As it stands, the mass of titles released for 3E stands roughly equal to the amount of 2E Forgotten Realms products. I am not sure how the content is spread over the...

    What do Centaurs eat?

They are omnivorous, and survive through a mixture of trade, agriculture, hunting, fishing, and foraging. They tend to become aggressive and rowdy when drunk. This is from the AD&D 2E Monstrous Manual.

[RHOD Spoilers] In which a strong party speedily...

Mmh. I ran what I presume to be the same adventure some time ago. It took us nine hours. The PCs managed to botch things towards the end and alarm was raised. In the final combat, they took out... * seven hobgoblins, two with significant class levels * six lizardfolk * six ogres * one ettin *...
