I vote for the KotS style. I hate flipping pages around like that. It gives the impression I'm more running the module rather than we're all immersed in the game as I flip around. Maybe that's my issue. Seems like an interesting module so far... will be a bit before my players will get a chance...

Other than the colors I think printing looks just fine. I do agree it'd be nice not to waste that ink for the colors - I thought adobe had a "print without backgrounds" option but it doesn't look like it does. I do like the format otherwise though.

How is it not printer friendly?

The big thing that'll help charsheets will be the inclusion of powers. I'm hoping the SRD has similar power info as 3.5 one... hopefully then some homebrew stuff including it will be a bit easier.

People are already complaining about new versions... imagine yearly releases. Oh, and just wait next year we'll release "Snow 4E" with very little changes! You need to activate your 4E core books at a local WotC store to use them but only with more expensive WotC dice that frequently roll blanks...

VERY cool. I think it might be a little dark... as you can see I use MapTool and the fog of war combined with the darkness of the dark areas might make it a little too much for my tastes. That's easily changeable though in any image editor! Also... while the resolution is fine I always love...

I don't think "line" powers exist, so perhaps a glitch in the writing. I don't have the PHB so I'm not sure if perhaps I'm missing something.
