So I should un-follow you on twitter until then... just tweet when the dark sun tweets will return and I'll ... oh wait... that wont work. Just kidding - always eager to hear about whatever you're working on or whatever teams aren't performing well this sunday ;) We appreciate the updates!
Since it's moved from development on Oct 24th, I imagine there is a bit of strategizing on how they plan to proceed with updates and whatnot. With so many other releases slated between now and then, I can see some emphasis on those for a little bit.
Here's hoping... not that I actually have time to use any PHB3 material... just am a speculation junkie.
Also... any guess as to which (if either) of the two adventure looking things are for the adventure path?
That's a great idea on the keying the hunt to something else... ::yoink::
Good suggestions from everyone... definitely makes all things fey easier when there's a unique supportive community that helps you jump out of your "normal DM" into something fantastical a little easier.
Running wave side treks during a 2 week hiatus right now. Players are split off into smaller groups (avoids waiting on people as much). Any idea for puzzles/riddles/etc that might work well in a wave?
Anyone have a clever usage of wave gadgets for a puzzle type thing?
Since it's a character...
No crunch needed, just fluff... I'm running a skill challenge where the party stumbles into a fey hunt and must stay alive long enough to encounter the hunting party and convince them to stop. In any event, I want the party mounted but am looking for something for a mount that's not mundane...
I know it's slow now, but I would imagine that's what happens with a proof-of-concept... I imagine dice would be optional and much faster/cooler in the initial release... as well as the multiple people using it at once being fun/cool looking.
If you saw the original surface demo, I bet you...
RPTools - Home is the correct link. There's a wave with a bunch of MT people exploring possibilities of using Wave and how Wave & MT might be friendly. The first invites I had went to my players, we're already using it. Trying to get our heads around it mostly, but I'm enjoying it.
This is making me think about a world where the PCs are Genasi, you've got the quasi-elementals as other groups within, and your enemy are all divine. Not just the typical evil divine, but all gods are seeking destruction... and your party is standing up for a more pure form of creation not...
Interesting, I just saw stuff like
I'm all for errata. I'm even more for PDFs.
Edit: What the heck, couldn't the character go S, SE, SE, SE, SE for a total of 5, not 6, to the far left?
Seeker PDF is up.
Jack99: SRM makes note of the Kobold-envy in the article - doesn't answer your question, but clearly states it was an inspiration for the Bloodbond.
Flavor text for the non-standard classes is definitely good. While many don't like the Invoker mechanics, I think they did a good job flavoring them well. We'll see on this guy!
Still waiting for the article - it's making me CRAZY!
Jack99: I wonder if the distinction is that as a racial power...
I can't wait to read the explanation text from the pdf on this one.
I wonder how long it will be before the archer-ranger in my group wants to switch or multiclass? =)
3 pages and no data tables or cool charts/graphs? I'm disappointed... but seriously, as this isn't a huge deal to me, it'd be cool if someone who was really interested put something together.
Fun! I'm now respecing my winter-controller-themed druid into a swam-theme... I'll drop the insect fluff and replace it with living blizzard. Exciting!
Definitely made me think about one benefit skill challenges have over combat... in combat your goal is to defeat the enemy and move on. IT's not necessarily a branching element within itself. Too often, I think I've run skill challenges with a similar mindset - they need to complete it to move...
I think the OP already has a netbook and was wondering if the SSD purchase would interfere with running it on the netbook. To clarify, the CB probably wont run well on a netbook with or without a SSD - the addition of the SSD to your setup didn't make the CB slower. If I'm interpreting...
Are you asking what people's opinions should be or did you have one in mind that should be obvious that I'm not getting?
hmmm, my tone above shouldn't come across as jerky - I'm legitimately curious :)
