Good point about the backstory, my only thought is that I'd like for Defilers/Preservers to have access to similar spells. Those power cards... YUCK. A few hours of work by several people over in the power card thread here have turned out some amazing results. No mention of even providing a blank template to print them out yourself so they don't look like a 3rd grader made them.

This is without a doubt my favorite 4E post so far.

I would definitely want to see a Dark Sun campaign setting. I'd love to see more campaign settings and less fully fleshed out campaign worlds. Keep the actual adventures in PoL format but leave some that would easily drop into Dark Sun or other adventures. Sure... the modules wont all fit...

No kidding! And what a good time to test digital distribution than with a test module... maybe make it free pdf to those that sign up for a year of DDI (not me!) or something... it's just too close to the phb for me to be interested in dropping anything more than a few bucks.

I would be interested in a reloaded version with some tweaks, perhaps some more encounter options as well. I also hear the biggest criticism of the maps is that they're a little too tight to get everybody into the fray - would be cool to see some changes there.

Perhaps house ruling here - but what if a failure on one of those "save or fall" would provide the player an opportunity to drop a significant chunk of their hp to avoid the fall. Essentially... we're assuming that when a player is trying avoid being pushed around on a flat plain battlefield...
