6-level only house rule? There was a thread here a while back about running D&D with the classes going up only to level 6, and letting people buy feats and such with xp after that. Can anyone direct me to it? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

The final mob fight in Gangs of New York is cool. Butcher Bill's running through the smoke, almost invisible, swooshing past the hero and slicing him each time. I like that image. I want people to do run-by attacks in my game. Skirmish encourages that. So, I like skirmish :)

Jack's a great example of how a Chaotic Evil person can fit into a more normal adventuring party. I really liked this movie, expecially the end. I loved the "I like to wave at them as they pass by." One thing, though...I can't remember if the Kraken sinks the Black Pearl or just eats Jack...

It seemed interesting, so I looked it up. There's one review on EN World; it says fantastic ideas, not-so-hot implementation.

I occasionally pop over and look at the Eberron and regular D&D boards. I completely understand why katana threads were banned. The katana thread glut over there was a hundred times worse than the "OMGZORZ DEMON PRINCES ARE WEAK AND STUPIDZ!" "OMG THEIR TOTALLY NOT DUMB-HEAD PERSON LOL!" over...
