I buy around 6 packs of each new set that comes out. Then if I see singles I really want and didn't get for cheap, I'll pick those up. I've been lucky in the past few sets where I've ended up getting the big rare or rares that I want in each set from the packs I buy.

Played up through Giants of Legend, then moved away from opponents. Since then, I just use them for D&D. I buy 4-6 boxes of each new set, then trade or buy singles if I find it really necessary to own something or just because it looks cool.

It's not some quick process to lay out pages in both landscape and portrait, so I can't see that the extra money would be worth it.

Family Game Store in Savage Mill was the one that didn't receive their pack (and didn't decide to follow up on that.) Games & Stuff in Glen Burnie was the second one I hit that had a limit 2, and even then ran out of some stuff early. I was very surprised to see the absence of some other game...

First store said they "never received their pack." Second store, half an hour after opening, was already out of the dungeon tile and mini. So I grabbed the 4e adventure and Trail of Cthulhu adventure. Decided not to hit the third store in Maryland :)

I like 4e, but refuse to bump this post! ...damn!

I'm thinking about hitting all three participating game stores in Maryland to try to get everything I want. It's a shame that stores have to restrict how many you can take, since I see it as a chance to try new RPGs that I might want to buy.
