Just thought I'd start a Canada Day thread to celebrate Canada & Canadians contributions to D&D. The most obvious is Ed Greenwoods creation of the Forgotten Realms. I believe Chris Perkins is Canadian too? Any others come to mind?

None. I loved the factions as kid, but now that I have a better understanding of philosophy and setting, I find them to be terrible and not well designed.

I believe that Heir in Heir of Strhad doesn't refer to the title of Darklord, but to siring Vampires.

Funny, but beautifully sung song by Whitney Avalon, Ginny Di, and a third woman who I think I've seen before playing D&D on the official channel, but I don't recall her name. All have incredible voices & talent.

Arcana Domain should be able to use its Channel divinity on the spells of allies as well.

What subclasses do you think those would have? For Martial maybe a Circle of Blades Druid? Brawler Fighter? Divine first one that comes to mind is Divine Soul Sorcerer.

Given this is Arcane subclasses, does anyone think we could also get Martial & Divine subclass UAs?

The first two Arcane Archer and Arcane Domain are awesome, rock solid, although I'd man Arcane shot profiency times instead of Intelligence, awesome either way. Love both of them. Monks Nature Tatoos feel too situational. Hexblade still feels pointless with the fixed Blade. Ancestral...

Dark and not good leaning is not the same as a traditionally "evil" race.

I think the Horror Sunclass UA killed that idea.

We know Lorwyn and Shadowmoore are getting a D&D book at some point. It makes sense that it would release at the same time as the up coming Lorwyn set. Magic Con Vegas gave us the release date, full name of the set and a couple of pieces of the art, so it seems highly likely the D&D Lorwyn book...

It's not the stealth, as fat guy, with great effort I can be stealthy, it's the acrobatics, it's just absurd, because not only would it be impossible, but the training for it woupd leave a person buff & slim. Sex/Gender doesn't enter into it.

Not just an elf, an elf Rogue that is highly athletic and and master acrobat, it's an absurd canon violation and makes no sense. I say this as someone overweight, it's absurd and unimmersive, I know from personally experience. Could have made the Dwarf or humans or Tiefling overweight fine...
