Dragonlance also had setting locked feats. Planescape & Spelljammer didn't, but that makes sense because they are designed interact and have a presence in other settings more then Eberron or Krynn, and sort of FR in theory, in practice FR has a history of crossovers.

You can take an origin feat any time you can choose a feat, they aren't exclusive to Backgrounds or the human species.

It's possible, maybe likely they aren't in the book, but it's also possible that any species options in the book aren't finalized yet, Forge of the Artificer is going out months before FRCG, like August I think vs November.

Silvery Barbs I believe ended up published outside Strixhaven and even ended up in BG3 I think. I might be mistaken by that.

I hope to here more about the Eberron specific Bastions. Makes me wonder if FR will have specific Bastion rules and if so will they appear in the FRPG or the FRAG?

Folks have been pointing out that the Eberron feats have a campaign setting Eberron, but Dragonlance's feats had Dragonlance setting as a prequisite, so it's the not the first. So is this the trend going forward, will FR stuff have FR only requirements, Lorwyn have Lorwyn only requirements...

Is it just me or besides the Cartographier is there really not a whole lot in this product that actually feels new instead of just a new way to do the old player options? Like instead of Dragonmark house subraces, we have Feats! Instead of Changeling, Warforged, Shifter, Kalastar, & Half Elf...

More like 2 months, the next UA will likely be another run at the FR subclasses that need tweaking, and maybe the FR feats and Circle Casting.

I don't think we will have a good grasp on where WotC is headed or how 2024 edition is doing until the 4 settings books (2 FR, 1 Eberron, & Shadowmoore), are released, because alot of the lore/flavour/innovation/toys were shunted to setting books so the Core does not seem to be enough on its own...

Will Changelings still be FEY like MotM or will they be Monstrosities like Doppelgangers in the MM? And will Kalastar be Aberrations, Shifters Monstrosities? And how will they make the species different enough from E: RftLW beyond creature types? More lineages for Shifters and maybe...
