I do think there could be subclasses and feats too given that 5 of the subclasses in the FR: AiF are connected to the 5 mini settings and some of the feats are connected to the 10 regions. Just basically stuff that didn't make it into FR: HoF.

Actually I've been looking at the ToC of both 3e & 4e FR setting books and all evidence suggests in many ways FR: AiF will resemble 4e more then 3e, in that if you look through the 3e ToC most of the type of content in alot of chapters actually will be shifted to the FR: HoF book, just like 4e...

Doing so the best candidate is Cultist of the Shatter Peak, which is an anti Arcane Tyrant group founded by descends of Netherese. That could make for an awesome faction dedicated to fighting evil magic.

Spellfire subclass also mentions the Old Empires Region, so that suggests the eastern part of FR and at least reasonably south. For me it's really just a question of will the Faerun map go right to the hoardlands amd south to the Shining South.
