    D&D 5E (2014) TCoE - Rogue's Steady Aim

Here's the rule I want to see in supplements: "You may not use this feature unless your DM agrees AND you (and the other players) buy him/her/them the book."

Satanic Panic of the late 80's

My gaming group in Junior High School went from almost 20 regular players to six or seven when the Satanic Panic happened. I was in a small town in Oregon that wasn't particularly religious. Almost none of the guys who dropped out attended church. Similar situation here, only we (actually)...

Starfinder On Alexa: Dead Suns Adventure Path

How easy would this be to play by someone who is only vaguely familiar with Starfinder? Or who played Pathfinder but not Starfinder? I'm considering buying this as a holiday gift for a friend.

Anyone ever played a game with two linked groups?

Because it involved two separate groups under the same DM, I feel obligated to mention the Head of Vecna here. Head of Vecna - 1d4chan

D&D General Which edition had the deadliest dragons?*

I voted for 3E dragons primarily because of their options: so many spells and attacks. If a party had good tanks, a spell or three could handle them. 3E dragons were diversely lethal.

How do you, as a PC, prep for your next game?

For the fiftieth anniversary WotC should put out a "Fiftieth Edition." Prove everyone wrong.

Rivers of London RPG: An Interview

I've really enjoyed the books. "Fast and simple" sounds good to me. I might have to convince my gaming group to give this a try.

Monster Arena Ultimate League, a Pathfinder RPG Actual Play Tournament, starts October 24th!

I've got a good feeling about Merp. I think this is his year to win it all.

    D&D General What's your favorite beer'n'pretzles dungeon?

I played through Barrowmaze in OD&D over two and a half years. I bought it after. It's very straightforward: pick a barrow and enter. It does have some over-arching plots--and it is very large. I think our 2.5 years of dungeon delving found approximately half of the numbered rooms/loot.
