My 3 int 4 wis half-ogre (?) Al Qadim fighter found (was given the Mattock of the Titans) by the DM. I never used it to attack because "It's a shovel and I already got a sword!" to drive one of the other players crazy.
But I dug a lot of brand-new tunnels in dungeons! 😜

In a recent 2.5 year OD&D game I played in, we learned at the end that 10 of our mules had been eating during the campaign. Toward the end, we were giving them names like "Tasty Treat" and "Indigestion."
It didn't help; they all got eaten.
One group I was in regularly used Leomund's Tiny Hut (yeah, it's a spell not a magic item) to block bottleneck doorways in dungeons for long rests.
The DM absolutely refused to give us a Daern's Instant Fortress after that. Hmmm.... 😁
The used bookstore I used to frequent when I was a kid (70's - 80's) was run by two "old guys" with long hair and mustaches who would regularly peruse the 1E PHB while behind the counter. I remember ten-year-old me thinking "That's a kid's game!" :LOL:
Did previous editions mention how easy/difficult it was to find something in a bag of holding? :unsure: 5E Doesn't address this issue.
What if your group finds a bag of holding and it already has stuff in it? How difficult is it to pull out something that you don't know is there?
