I am not sure if this is great news but I like that there will be another avenue of mini's I can get if needed. I have absolutely no problem with the way DDM is done now.

I will use anything that fits the story/feel/encounter that I want but I really lean towards the creatures I grew up with in the old Red Box set. The ones I feel are iconic to the game.

Tact-tiles are my favorite. I wish I could get some more. An excel sheet that I made for tracking PCs is really helpful. Using the DDM stat cards rather than writing out monster stats is a big time saver for me.

Very interesting. I like everything about DDM now but I wonder what this might do to the market.

Yes, mostly. I DM 2 out of 3 sessions the majority of the time.

I voted 70% but that is for the game I DM. My group also has two other DMs and when they run the game combat is about 50% and 30% respectively. Everyone likes the different styles which I believe is one reason we have a good strong group.

I voted no. I already built the Gaming Table I like. It is 4x8 1" plywood topped with dry erase board. On top of that I set a portable 1-foot tall 3x3 table to hold my 9-square Tac-Tile set. I still have to put a few pull out drawers on the large table and some low-watt under counter lights on...

We have skirmished a few times but mainly play Heroscape for that aspect. I now use only plasticrack for gaming. If I don't have the correct mini I use a close substitute. I have put all my stand in coins back into the coin jar ;) I am also a completionist. I have all the minis Wizard's has made...

Here is how an end of session wrap up usually goes: DM: Aww man, I could have killed you guys if I had remembered this. Players: Aww man, we could have killed that monster if we had remembered that. I figure it's a wash. SR and DR are the ones I forget the most.

I hope there is a Mummy redo since they are so hard to come by.

Environmental book on Jungles/Swamps is needed.
