I place these settings (and more) on a different within the same Prime Material Plane. Also, I’d consider having 4e game physics apply there, not whatever edition you are primarily using. I haven’t actually done this, but it is potentially interesting. Or just annoying?

Our gaming group in college thought the same. Now, at age 55, I think I on the West Coast, Bob who’s moving to Michigan, and the guy who made a career of game design in Finland (!) are the only ones still playing. But maybe some day?

After decades of complaining here about “balance” across many editions (3, 3.5, 4, 5 2014, 5 2024, probably more), it’s clear the rules aren’t the problem. Or if they are, doesn’t seem likely the issue will ever be “solved”.
