Well the free class skill I believe is supposed to make up for the sacrifice in versatility a Human in a clan suffers. They no longer have a 'free multiclass' and their bonus feat must be an ancestor feat.

Ranged Sunder behaves a bit differently than the Improved Sunder feat. Since I lack the 3.5 core books, I'm not sure how it interprets or relates. But for the most part, I think ti doesn't make a difference.

That was probably a comment more in relation to Baldur's Gate (the first, where there were Ogrillions as randoms, and occasionally in BG2), and just a bit of general snide/resentment towards the CRPG environment in general and the "new players" who came over from that environment :). Of course...

I doubt it on those two settings, for the same reason I don't think we'll see regional feats for Scarred Lands etc in Dragon. New material on those settings at least, are being handled by another publisher. I do see it being likly for Eberron, and possibly for the 'Old Campaign Setting...

Off hand, I don't believe so, but PGF has something sorta similiar. Although, truthfully, it's really closer to an Improved Evasion (without the Evasion benefit).

Well, given that PS2 now has a harddrive, that even allows for game installation (FFX in japan was installable to the hard-drive, not sure if it's enabled in the US version or not) and running completely from the hard-drive, I have a real difficult time seeing size being a reasonable medium...

Just a tidbit here, that may well be off topic. Cosmopolitian no longer adds to your class skill list, it just gives you a +2 bonus to Bluff, Gather Information, and Sense Motive checks. As a sidenote, using Knowledge (local) 2 ranks as a require for a Regional Feat would make it impossible...

Well, I'd state it's superior in damage, but suffers in the DC category :). 7.5 damage more is a hitdie or three (dependant on their 'Mook Rating' :P). Also, spell DC hits hurt, but of course, if you use Ray spells, metamagic shines real nice, as the Spell DC "cost" becomes irrelevant...

Well, that's not a good comparison either, as Dodge is an 'entry' feat, and generally regarded as 'Ok for being underpowered' because it leads into more powerful feat chains/Prestige Classes later on. Much in the same tone that the 'Save' Feats are often glossed over as Prestige Class...
