    PGtF/ Initiate Feats, Balanced?

Both actually, I'm sure it's come into play for enough groups to develop a few "at glance" opinions :). [ After all, folks have already begun to comment that the XPH revision in play is unbalanced ... heh :P ]

Why don't your players like psionics?

Now, let's approach this from a different manner. Most of those terms are ones that were developed as far back historically as Ancient Greece and Rome (even the awkward Ablating). The three most recent (I believe) are constructs taken from current 'real world psionics' (Apopsi, Catapsi...

    PGtF/ Initiate Feats, Balanced?

Bit curious now as to if these feats are really balanced 'as feats'. Not denying that they add a nice touch of flavor to clerics of the appropiate deity, I'm just concerned about their relative balance. Especially given that they are close to exclusively the domain of Clerics, a class already...

Why don't your players like psionics?

In 3.0, most likly had to do with MAD and not wanting the Psionic Combat vulnerability. That, and as said, the genre-"breaking" issue of Psionics in a fantasy world is troubling to overcome :). I really don't understand the problem of 'loot', psionic items aren't a necessity for a psionic...

    New Psionics Balance

Holy/Unholy, they can make use of the Align Weapon feat. Magic, already handled. Epic, err, epic progressin. Material is where ya suffer. Except for a few specific materials, you'll just have to have a back up weapon.

    New Psionics Balance

Nope, you can't, at least not too reasonably. Psicrystal Containment or some such can be used to store focus in your PsiCrystal, but I'm not too sure how that works or can be applied. At 21st, Epic Psionic Focus allows you to spend focus for two effects, and I think can be taken again to...

    New Psionics Balance

Same way Mind Over Body is. It's not meant to be better, it's meant to be a different benefit :). Also, Quasetor forgot to mention that the monk gains more DR piercing abilities :). [ Add Ack ] Well part of the theory for actually having different mechanics in play for MetaPsi than MetaMagic...

A Rifts Balance Discussion for Roguewriter & Buzzard

Bah! Giga Damace and GDC is the way to go :P [Ah yes, My prescious Rifter #9 1/2 ] [ Add ] Erm, flanking isn't a sneaky fight, it's tactical application of a regular situation in melee combat. Rogues don't have to be scurvy backstabbing dogs to be effective :). That said it isn't a 'Mano e...

So an exhausted barbarian or monk can still charge :)...

    The Book of Ultimate Neutrality

Book of Concordant Opposition. Hmm, would be interesting. Would most likly have to deal in part with handling "good" and "evil" even-handedly. I don't think there's many "Outsider" Prince types that can associate with them aside from the Elemental Princes which don't really fit in my opinion...

    Slarecians

Slight correction there. wait an indeterminate length of time for the XPH not only to come out, but to be added to the SRD, and then start your Mechanics Development "fresh" from that point. The SRD issue will probably be around a month, but that means, the earliest mechanical development for...

    Slarecians

Mindscapes fits rather nicely with the XPH from what I understand as is. It's If Thoughts Could Kill that suffers more so under the changes. Ravenloft, well I'm not sure, it depends on how much they put in. If they added any powers, those most likly will need to be reworked to be a...

    Dragon No. 319 arrived today

Kinda curious, is Oronis dead in the Dragon write-up? Just trying to figure out why he wouldn't be a possible or viable option for the paladins. [edit / add ] Is it because even the spells the SK grant are elemental in nature? [End Edit] And there are some healing powers in the PsiH :)...

    Explaining vorpal sword effect

I would say that the combatant is slightly more effective than just pinking him at the toe. After all, how would you justify the fighter killing him at all with just toe plinking? :P

    Why do 3e/3.5e modules suck?

This I shall contend as I'm staring at a 3.0 module (City of the Spider Queen), that is site-based, and has a timeline evident that results in Very Bad Stuff Happening if the party doesn't do anything. With it said, most of the Flappy Modules don't seem to really have a net effect "on failure"...

Psy Warrior take on XPH (ie-Psy warrior is Wis?)

Psy Warrior take on XPH (ie-Psy warrior is Wis?)

The changes to the feat, powers, and psi-combat system do this well enough on their own. There will be very few characters that could concievably actually convert without a massive/major rewrite. Better than some of the other potentials in 3.0 Psi :), Like Psychic Inquistor. Also it's a bit...

Pathfinder 1E Paizo Bites- A Rant

[ Trimmed Quote so my reply will be longer although, it's all relevant :) ] So, more or less, your complaint lies against the industry standard rather than against Paizo specifically? With Paizo's actions just being "representative" of a climate that's negative towards writers?
