I love Shadow of the Demon Lord and Shadow of the Weird Wizard. I think both do a good job of the character class/sub class thing as you level up. I feel if characters like the character development process of D&D/PF both games offer that in spades. I'm also a huge Schwalb fan so I am biased.

I think as you and others touched on this varies person to person but also if you go back to ODD or ADD many of the monsters were pulled from science fantasy, Lovecraft, pulpy cinema, etc. Just my two cents.

Google NotebookLM might be helpful as well. It's been quite useful for me and RPGs. Unfortunately it only works with pdfs.

Not sure if we're limiting this to just ChatGPT but for those that do not know Google NotebookLM is quite helpful. At least it has been for me and my circle of RPG friends. I don't want to hijack the thread if it's focused on ChatGPT, but take a look see.
