    D&D 5E (2014) Strength bows?

I get why archery is overpowered (a bit) in this edition, but I don't understand what's so great about crossbows.

D&D 5E (2014) How hard is it to rebase a miniature?

I'll make sure to not hold it in my crotch LOL Where can I get these bases though?

    D&D 5E (2014) Strength bows?

I forgot DEX adds to damage in 5e (I'm very new to this edition!). It would be game breaking if STR and DEX added to damage, and I'd prefer to dump STR. Thanks!!

D&D 5E (2014) Options for the best archers

I want to make my archer primarily a Fighter, I think. The only thing keeping me from going mono-class Fighter is my brain telling me "well, since you'll be wearing light armor anyway, why not start as a Rogue? You'll get more skills! You'll do a bit more damage" Then it becomes, "well, at...

D&D 5E (2014) How hard is it to rebase a miniature?

... and where do I get the materials? I have a Heroclix "Bard the Archer" I'd like to rebase into my mini for an upcoming campaign. I've never done this before. Please advice. Thanks.

    D&D 5E (2014) Strength bows?

I'm working out the details on an archer I'm building. I remember in 2e, there were bows that could be built to take advantage of a characters high STR score. I think they had this in 3e as well. Does this exist in 5e? As I said, I'm working out the details on an archer I'm building, and...

D&D 5E (2014) Chucking daggers: how do we throw two?

ok, got it. But you can definitely only throw one dart a round (without multiple attacks), right?

D&D 5E (2014) Chucking daggers: how do we throw two?

That's kind of what I was thinking as well. If I want to build a ranged killer, I should stop trying to think outside the box and just go with a traditional archer. Of course, I could make that Archer a Wood Elf Rogue instead of the traditional Fighter or Ranger. :p

D&D 5E (2014) Chucking daggers: how do we throw two?

What does the line about darts mean? I'm a bit confused.

D&D 5E (2014) Chucking daggers: how do we throw two?

Hmmm, I was considering making this build mostly Rogue, with just some Fighter sprinkled in.

D&D 5E (2014) Chucking daggers: how do we throw two?

...and if I take the Sharpshooter feat, the -5/+10 can be used on both?

D&D 5E (2014) Chucking daggers: how do we throw two?

Okay, but without the Two Weapon Feat, you can (assuming you've already drawn both daggers), throw two in a round as a first level character?

D&D 5E (2014) Options for the best archers

I don't think the Barbarian Archer is optimal, but it sure does sound fun. :) It also doesn't come off as a gimped character, just not optimized. JMO

D&D 5E (2014) Chucking daggers: how do we throw two?

I was reading the Dagger Thrower thread in the Character Builds forum, and I want to create my own. The question I have is: how does this character throw two daggers? Is there a rule I'm unfamiliar with? Does two weapon fighting work with thrown weapons that can be used in melee? TIA

    D&D 5E (2014) Dagger Thrower

I'm just tagging this thread to find it easier. I'm rethinking my archer rogue into a dagger chucker now! I have always planned on adding between 1 and 12 levels of Fighter though. :p
