I played once, and had an awesome time. The guys from my job are planning another outing when it gets warmer.
What really grinds my gears is when these "regulars" come with their paintball howitzers and play against me and most of the people I know who are just renting the crap guns. It's not...
I like the Improved Initiative idea a lot.
I forgot that Combat Casting only applies, well, in combat. That's what I get for 90% of my 3e experience being Icewind Dale II. :(
Oh man, some great stories here guys! I wish I had more to contribute, but as the guy who died more than any other players, I never gave up and just asked for a PHB to start rolling up a new character. Eventually, I'd bring two or three different characters to a session for when my character...
I don't think there's anything else to it, except for scanning for errors (or something like that, I'm on a work computer and can't see the program right now).
I love this program, and probably use it every time I have the computer turned on.
I'm in... two leagues is better than one (and I encourage any other interested parties to follow the link in my signature for another great league!)!
EDIT: Don't expect me at the draft, I'm all pre-ranked and ready to roll.
If so, why?
I've never actually played 3.5, and I'm kinda curious as to the thinking behind this.
The last time I played, it was 3.0, and Clerics were thought of as the "best class" for power.
I disagree. I still don't think MM should be taken at 1st level (I wait until level 3 to start memorizing it), but it's very useful when an enemy casts Mirror Image, and great on any enemy spellcaster for spell disruption purposes.
